Twin Dolphin Marina is the marina where my 440 was kept by the previous owner. I sailed her from there to Pass-A-Grill where I keep her. I enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.
Hi guys. Great Trip, I'm green with envy, still no next Boat in sight for me, but fingers rossed an order can go in for my next Sailboat around August September ish. May still get a Jeanneau, as I really like them, but due to my Disabilities, the nost sensible option looks like I'm going with an Island packet, as the standard List of Construction options, covers pretty much everything I need, that would be terribly expensive Customisations I would need for any other boat. Most Standard options are no extra Cost, to get what I need, so amazingly, a New Island Packet works out a lot cheaper than even Customising a Secondhand Sailboat. That was a bit of a Shocker tbh. Still looking forward to meeting up with you guys and inviting you over for drinks somewhere Sometime, in gratitude for the great insights you have given me on Jeanneau Sailboats, which has Turned me into a Fan. tbh, the closest challenger to the Island Packet, with not too bad Customisations extra costs, was a 44ft Jeanneau Sun Odyssey Deck Saloon ❤ that boat as I can almost get around it below safely as standard, plus a safe galley for me to wedge into. Not too dissimilar below to the Island packet 439 (I really love the IP 349, just can't fit what I need into it. If a lot younger, and a lot fitter, it'd be no Contest for the IP 349 tbh. Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob in Wales. 👍⛵️🍻🍻🍻✨️✨️✨️
Enjoyed your channel! Just Subscribed.I’m trying to convince my wife that a circumnavigation is a great retirement project and went so far as to even start a little channel (@NavalGazingatCampDavid) to sell her on the life style….desperate times and all that. Lol. Thanks again for the great content. I have a whoooole new appreciation for the time and care it takes to create these episodes!
The passage was a great learning opportunity for us. Cats have their plus and minus but are not for us. We still like the 440. I’m in the middle of an arch project and have a major electric upgrade coming. We also just finished the bow thruster recall so stay tuned.
@@SailingCAVU we have just upgraded our batteries and electric system. LiFe 900 amps and a balmar alternator. What have you managed to put up as solar? I’m very interested.
