  • Brady vs. Roethlisberger II. A rematch of the 2004 AFC Championship, that proves to be much closer this time around. Thanks to www.mcmillenandwife.com/ for hosting this, and many other, great Steeler games from the past.

The Packers of the 60's. The Steelers of the 70's. The 49ers of the 80's. The Cowboys of the 90's. All incredible dynasties, but the Patriots dynasty is the ultimate my dynasty with out a doubt. Because unlike the four teams I mentioned, the Patriots dominated not one, but two (consecutive) decades. I think New England will really, really miss Tom Brady if they don't already lol.

When Harrison left on the cart with a torn ACL he was never the same player again and that was a shame since he kept himself in such tremendous shape. He was always extremely durable and likely had a few extremely productive years left in the tank.

Rodney Harrison was the same player it was just the injuries caused him to miss a lot of games those last few years in the NFL for him. That 2005 season the Patriots were the walking wounded with 45 different starters. That is a NFL record for a team to have won their division. The previous record before that was the Patriots in 2003 when they had 42 different starters due to injury.

This game was a perfect display of Tom Brady’s dominance against the Steelers zone blitz defense.

I will never forget what Brady said after this game and Richard Seymour:
Brady: "I hate coming to this place. But I love it!"
    Seymour: "You and me both."

That was an ugly win but the Pats won. That 2005 for the Patriots was a season where they had a lot of players get injured and to somehow win the AFC East was as good a job as can be done.

Let's not forget that the Steelers did go into the playoffs, and won against the Colts at the Colts stadium, then went to the Broncos stadium of Mile High, and won their by a large score before going to the Super Bowl.
The Colts in the 2005 season was undefeated and won against the Patriots in the Regular Season and won against the Steelers the same season in the Regular Season.
Before the Colts lost to the Chargers later that season.
Along with the Broncos that same season in the playoffs, before going against the Steelers, had won against the Patriots I. The playoffs.

Gotta wonder what happens if the Patriots don't fall to the Broncos in the 2nd round that postseason. Do they beat Pittsburgh in the AFCCG and do they 3peat over Seattle if they do?

More like if they could have been more healthy because that 2005 Patriots team was riddled with injuries from Week 1 to the end.

@@borla4491 The Patriots that season in 2005 were riddled with injuries so the fact they made it as far as they did was amazing. What hurt them in that game against denver in the playoffs were four turnovers in that game. If they didn't turn it over I think the outcome is different.

James Farrior was getting killed the last drive. He never was a good coverage LB. Always a pure run thumper

P.S. I'm desperately searching for Week 2 2013 Bills Panthers; condensed if possible but whatever you got in decent quality. I thought I had a good archive of 2013 C.G. from our buddies at TYT; I only save close interesting games; but its got gaping holes. Bills Panthers has the 2 best D fronts of that year, 8+ sacks, and over 300 rushing yards combined. A must own for me in other words.

In terms of 2005....do you happen to have any of these? Pats vs Dolphins Week 10, Pats vs Saints Week 11, Pats vs Jets Week 13, Pats vs Buccaneers Week 15 and Pats vs Jets Week 16.

Bart and Homer; sorry to hear about the lawyers and privatizing Bart. Now, I doubt the NFL is using people, probably bots. How about using abbreviations in the title; 2005 NE @ Pitt week __ everybody will know what it is.

actually it seems like it was real people who gave me the strikes; under the "Claimants" tab it lists two peoples' names that apparently work for the NFL's "trademark and brand enforcement". i was surprised to see that, to say the least.
good idea for the abbreviations, only thing is i believe that's what the user "dougjennings" used on his videos, and he just received two copyright strikes himself, so seems like the NFL will find them anyway unfortunately.

According to my model, the steelers were the most likely team to win the superbowl in the past 20 years, even more likely than the 2007 patriots

that pass interference call against #30 of the pats was a joke.
