    On gay marriages, there's Steven Universe, sort of...though technically they aren't women, but gems in the shape of women, so I suppose this does take it further.
    They always say Aaravos doesn't lie, but also doesn't give the full truth, so I hope this is the case with the tale he gave Claudia...that there's more to it than this, otherwise it feels a little too simple. (Plus it feels like it was rather perfectly tailored to play on her sympathies, which is naturally something he wants to do...)

      I definitely think Aaravos embellished the story. I mean he says they killed his daughter for showing humans a few magic tricks, but Aaravos himself invents dark magic and gives it to humans, and the Startouch elves couldn’t care less. Besides, the sole purpose of telling the story was to make him seem like the victim, so Claudia would empathize with him. Otherwise the spell wouldn’t work. He never cried while telling it, like Viren did while telling his own story in episode 6. He’s also prone to twisting the truth, if not lying outright. He told Sol Regem to breathe fire directly on Viren and Soren (though Soren didn’t die), leading to Viren’s death, AND he smiled when he saw it happen. Then later in the episode he says “I did everything I could to try to help your father”, but immediately changes the subject to the spell to let him out. Terry even comments at how this is callous to do to Claudia, but she says it’s fine.

    I'd say Callum didn't really know they couldn't find the nova blade there... I think he only suspected that they will be given the crown if they fulfill the prophecy, but he also went there mainly because of the nova blade (as he didn't know about the prophecy until they arrived)

    this season was decent in my opinion. I’d say the last two episodes were the best out of the season. I really didn’t expect to have sympathy for viren or aaravos. I kind of had a hunch that viren would actually d** but I didn’t think it’d be this soon. They should’ve extended his redemption arc until the final season in my opinion.

      Also, Steven Universe has a lesbian wedding between Ruby and Sapphire and is notable for its lgbtq characters :)

    Y'know willingly joining aaravos seems like a big mistake as aaravos is like a spiteful genie. First he has uses and abuses viren to the point of dying more than once, Sir sparkle puff bites the bullet, sol regum choke on his pride and claudia it seems is willing to give every fiber of her being to dark magics exchange system,

    Thank you for not being a Rayllum shipper. Even after them making up, I still feel that Rayla’s apology is a half-hearted effort. I don’t think she truly acknowledged her actions caused Callum pain. She just said, “I’m sorry.” That didn’t do it for me….

      I just whish they remained friends. For a very progressive show they decided to use the same old worn out trope. The lead male & female become a romantic couple.

      Same here. It wasn't handled well
      Who knows? Maybe next season, Aaravos will call them out on how their relationship is just unhealthy, showing them moments from previous seasons through Time-related magic(Star magic) proving his point.
      Aaravos just doesn't lie and Callum and Rayla would have to face the truth head-on

    I'm convinced we don't yet have the full or true story of Aaravos and his daughter. First, Aaravos always twists things to get the outcome he wants. Second, it makes for better story telling to leave us wondering if there's more to it then later on have the reveal where we get the whole story. Which no doubt also explains other events in the story.
    And I do hope Claudia is on a redemption arc but I'm not so certain of that. So far she's been the poster child for what dark magic does to a person. I don't know if she's going to follow her father and turn away from dark magic or whether she's going to stay on that path to a tragic end.

    As far as I understand, Aaravos wants to take revenge by using humans rather than directing his anger at them.

    Finally a video that doesn't just glaze s6🙏 I think what I hated the most about the last few seasons, to make it short, is the amount of side plots. I felt like I was watching tiktok parts instead of whole episodes, why'd they have to cut to another plot every 3 minutes?

    • @aberrrate
      @aberrrate 2 месяца назад +1

      I gotta vent about it lmao:
      Also I feel like nothing is happening overall, just unimportant side quests. For a series with "mystery of aaravos" in its title, we dont rly get closer to solving that mystery. Bro literally appeared twice in s6. Also his backstory felt rushed and kinda flat, and I still dont get WHO hes trying to get revenge on rn, what are his motives, and as you said, why it isnt the elves from the star court thing

    • @aberrrate
      @aberrrate 2 месяца назад

      Plus I might be biased cause I like his character but viren dying was meh, I hate the "character dies just after redemption" trope, its kinda lazy

      Overall I think they should just eliminate/merge certain subplots and develop others more. Also I get that by separating the group we get more individual moments.. I guess? But for me character interactions are way better. I miss when they were a team, yk?

    I liked Janai and Amaya plotline in season 1-3 and then...the filler. Honestly I came back only for Aaravos and Viren, Not sorry. Claudia and Terry were insufferable last 2 seasons in my opinion but I'm actually warming up to them now that they don't scram 'kid filler' and fart fetish but let me be honest...If not for Aaravos id never come back after season 4.

    • @TheMrPeteChannel

      I only came back for Viren, Claudia & Aaravos. Why are is the show now shipping Soren with Corvus? The season before that it is was Sorbeia & before that it was Pyren. Soren doesn't need a love interest because we have Raylum, Terria & Jamaya.

    Avatar the Last Airbender, Korra and Dragon prince have never been good at writing romances. It is what it is. Janai ans Amayas plot with the sun elves was ok this season but I've always found that storyline such a drag on the seasons.
