For a game as fast paced and graphically intensive as this
It NEEDS good netcode right out of the gate
Seeing how passionate they have been about immediately addressing community concerns so far I’d bet my money if the online is bad enough and the community is loud enough about it we will get rollback added in the future for sure.
Why can't we have good netcode right at the start? Lol
Custom mode will most likely be my favourite thing to do
WOW, doing actions from the perspective of the character you’re playing, revenge counters, EVERYTHING, all to make it feel like you’re playing the anime.. not to mention the fact that it’s basically taking everything that’s great from all the other Dragon Ball games and improving on them.. the developers are pulling out all the stops for this one, and they should be applauded!👏🏻

I am extremely excited for this game but not having rollback is a huge disappointment, releasing a fighting game without rollback these days is a dead sentence
You honestly believe tenkaichi 4, a dragon ball game of all things, is gonna be dead cause no rollback? You don't believe that one bit.
It's gonna have a high player pool because of it being dragon ball. But wifi warriors gonna plague us
Rollback doesn't instantly mean good online. Rollback isn't suited for every game, especially faster paced games. I trust they know what they're doing, I'm sure the online will be fine.

Man, one of the best things about Raging Blast was the ability to customize each character!!!!
Lol. Know it’s a reach, but if they do that (and I know they probably won’t) this would be the definitive best Dragon Ball game of all time. Instant hall of fame.
You could change the aura, costume, and the moves.

Ready for laggy online? Not i and considering solo play will definitely not carry the game, this is a bad move.
Well to be fair I'm not sure if rollback could work if they tried there is so much happening with the level of destructing in sparking zero the game would struggle to keep up. And that information would have to be sent to both users. And both users actions would have to be predictable.
The user may say rollback will be just fine. But its pretty clear how its working out for fighterz
If they did use rollback I feel it would have to be some sort of experimental version of rollback that is able to do new things
