OMG I love this game. Used to play it for hours optimizing all scenarios to get him to go fully mad. There is also a second game where these neighbors are on a vacation so you have to pull pranks there. It's such a simple, but such a funny game.
@@SkidrowTheThird yeah I didn't really check out the remaster just because I didn't have time. I do have fond memories of this game even though it's basic really. It is just good relaxing fun and that's it. I did like routing all pranks in a perfect way, felt satisfying.
@@rand0mtv660 Apparently there are also mods of this as well with some having custom pranks like this one where the neighbor apparently is trying to hammer a trophy to his wall but due to the weird nail you swapped it with ends up smashing his FINGER on accident
I remember the demo of this being on a PC Gamer disc back in the day. Now i'm wondering if RCE would touch the Incredible Machine or its many sequels/expansions. Lots of engineering in that one
Holy shit this brought back so many memories I used to play the game when I was like 4 and I’d always get scared and run away from the computer whenever I get caught I had completely forgotten about this thank you so much for bringing back all those memories and reminding me this game exists
Fun fact: An architect isnt the worst person. The worst person is a dropout entitled architect, who has never tasted pain in their life (or so he thinks).
Matt at 11:02, a typical boy 🤣🤣 A really funny game which you made even funnier without even drawing any strongest shapes(atleast you wanted to) 🤣🤣 Keep it up ❤️
@@Me-sx2dm good question Me, here is an actually answer (whether you wanted one or not). Beyond the obvious privilege of having a say in how our built environment is designed, I find working with all the consultants necessary to put a building together (engineers included!) very gratifying. Everyone influencing a project, civil, mechanical, plumbing, landscape, electrical, community members, local governments, developers, clients, various contractors, etc. all bring their own perspectives and agendas to the table. As the architect it should be your responsibility to satisfy all parties involved to the best of your ability, and that challenge is fun for me. I’ll admit that some of my colleagues are better at putting their hubris aside and working collaboratively than others, but at the end of the day any self respecting architect acknowledges that in order to create a world that we are excited to live in we need both utility and aesthetics. Any self respecting engineer (or other voice involved in the design process) will lend their expertise in their specific field to further that goal as well. In this way, I can make fun of other architects that allow their egos to dictate the design with realcivilengineer, while appreciating that engineers are extremely talented individuals that possess skills that I do not have and do not want to learn. Leveraging our combined abilities can create really awesome things that people enjoy. That’s exciting to me, and that’s why I’m an architect.
"neighbors should be there for one another" that is so true. I live in what I only describe as old neighborhood and, I must say one thing, if you live good with your neighbors you ( most likely) always have someone to help you for proverbial four pack of beers. I'm talking from experience, I had 2 cars that was saved so, that i could drive them additional year each, by neighbor welder for cost of 8 beers. And so that anyone would call me parasites I'm baker so I sometimes get cakes for neighbors and, if they ask, I provide them with tested bread recipe( as far as I know, nobody complained about bread done from that recipe😀) Sorry for any mistakes. English isn't my native language
Having just watched the final episode of Neighbours and then going on a nostagia trip for most of the night last night, the timing of the ending to this video couldn't be any more weird... 🤣
Wow, this brought back so many memories. It was one of the first games I played back when I was 10 years old. It was such a different time. Thank you for this wave of nostalgia.
I used to play this game with my sister. I needed a guide at times, but other than that, it was a very fun game. It's got a sequel I also played, the one with travel. Good memories.
Huh, I didn't notice the remaster version are in my library, must be the works of an architect again! On other note, I like that they're giving steam owners of the old Pack the remaster for free (and vice versa)
OMG that was the game of my life as a kid, I loved it so much! And watching the gameplay brought so many sweet memories lmao. There was also some spin-offs with a vacation game with two of them
That gag with your voice going “all weird” when you stretch the screen had me laughing. Just absurd, hilarious comedy. Thanks for all your great content!
Nostalgia anyone?
This was my childhood' just failing multiple times on some levels
very nostalgic :D
of course! i spent hours in this game!
Raft has bridges
One of my favorite games of all time, and wit will be for ever! This is my childhood
Now I’m just waiting for a channel called “Real Civil Architect” for a bitter rivalry to arise
No... do'nt.
Less there's gonna be a _'war'_ .
Real uncivil architect because architects aren’t civil
YourRealArchitect
OH F*CK NO
Thanks for the idea!

So Matt, right?

This whole scenario falls apart when you realize that Matt’s character is dressed EXACTLY like an architect. (I am one so I’d know).
You shouldn't be here
why are you an architect

Or Crazy Machines!

When this game came out, I've played it nonstop. It was one of my favourites, topped only by GTA:SA and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.

Im watching your videos since you had 200k and it NEVER got boring!
i used to play this game as a kid this thing is old. Still a classic tough
The architect learning about videogame culture

I was remembering this game yesterday. Crazy you are posting a video today.
I remember the OG, I even have it on CD's, both the first one and on vacations. Best game I owned as a kid.
Maaaaan. I remember playing the demo of this when i was younger.
The worst is when your architect neighbor relies on your foundation for thier "decorations"
"Civil Engineer here, I just sawed this sofa in half!"
Love the videos Matt I found u looking for tips on minimotorways and I’ve been watching since literally no matter what u play u make it look fun lol
RCE using the term "rat-dog" made my day! They arent real dogs!!

Am I the only one who realised the cake at 9:00 look like the one in Portal ?
I love the neighbours reference at the end haha.
0:37 “any dog under 50lbs is a cat, and cats are pointless”
Even my parents loved this game when I was a kid.
0:44 She is the Erchitect's mother.
in NFH 2 we can see his wife
I'd have swapped the superglue for his pile cream, but then I really hate my neighbours.
ain't no way he played one of the classics?! let's goooooo
In my country this game called "как достать соседа" which means "how to piss off your neighbor"
i think "truss, i am the engineer" is not terrible... It's gorgeous
So proud of Matt, he came out of the closet so many times 😂
Damn I remember this game when i was a kid! Cant believe im seing this here again, such a nostalgia dude

I remmember when this was the only game on a single school computer
You should check out a game called "Opus Magnum". It's a puzzle engineering game, I think you'd really like it.
You just want Matt to curse the name of Zach Barth unto his dying breath.
Man, i remember this game from super long ago
The Outro music is back!!! I love it 😍
1:20 oh That was close
2:30 oh That was close 2
5:15 oh That was close 3
architect vs engineer vs technician. that would be better competition where each will call other inept and useless.
I've never understood why engineers and architects hate each other.
“WE’VE GOT AN EGG!”
14:35 Was the last episode of Neighbours the other day. After nearly 40 years, it's gone.
Yes! I want to see more of this please!
Casually dropping a shout out to the end of Neighbours there at the end

More of this please, I'd love a NFH series, there is also a second game I believe unless the remake had both games in it.
