After self building our Renault Kangoo Micro Camper in 2018 we have slowly upgraded vans over the years (Mercedes Sprinter Conversion, Renault Trafic, Peaguot Boxer selfbuild, VW T25's and Fiat Ducato Hymer Motorhome...) We now know exactly what we want in a van and we found that in the Bailey Advance 74-4 2019 Motorhome. It's now our full time tiny home on wheels which we're travelling around Europe in before we head back to the UK to try our hand at full time UK vanlife while working.

If your ankle was already hurting from twisting it the day before, you absolutely made the right decision to turn back. Also snow, especially while it's melting, can cause lots of damage to trails and also hide damage. As some one who lives in Alaska, I know snow, and I'm always more careful in spring on trails. I really enjoyed all the drone shots and your music choices fit perfectly with the scenery, great work guys!

As a person who lives somewhere nearly identical (right down to our trio of peaks called Three Sisters), I can confirm I would brave it...and considerably worse. But if you're not comfortable, don't go!

Better safe than sorry, good to listen to your instincts. Avalanches are no joke! Melty snowy/ice conditions can be pretty treacherous for hiking. The scenery was super pretty where you were anyway :)
Yeah we didn’t realise there’d still be snow! It was very wet and dodgy from all the melting ice, I really didn’t want to die 😂
The view out the campervan windscreen looks unreal. Scenic places like this always seem like it's a painted backdrop.
I know! It just looked so unreal, it’s hard to get your head around 😅💕
Very beautiful and atmospheric drone footage, made more effective by superbly selected music. Amazing scenery! I wouldn’t have braved the hike without proper boots, equipment etc. Did you hear about the 2 Italians who were killed falling off a mountain a few days ago? Tragic. On a lighter note, good to have the culinary queen back with her magic apron! “I wasn’t expecting much” - never underestimate Mama Dom - even at altitude!♥👍
Thanks Stephen! And I didn't hear about that, how awful! Death was all I could think about on the way back especially knowing that lots have died in the Dolomites, they can be brutal. And haha I will never underestimate again! 💖
Its absolutely gorgeous there. This place is definitely on my bucket list now. And no i probably wouldn't have gone any further either. If something makes you feel dodgy, its best to listen to those inner warning bells. be safe and have an epic day!!!

Nice to see you both cooking today! So many eggs though. 🤢 (I’m allergic.) Got a turkey breast, mini potatoes and asparagus on the go myself.
I would have been a bit anxious on that hike, even back when I was an avid hiker instead of an avid watcher of RUclips in bed. I am so clumsy and off balanced. I could trip on a blade of grass!

Ooh your food sounds good 🥰 and I totally relate, I was okay up until then, and then on the way back all I could think about was falling and my legs were like jelly 😭 Views were magnificent though! And we got it for free in the end, they just waved us through the barriers after 😂
It's looks so pretty but so cold 💙 I'm not sure I'd want to be hiking on icy paths next to sheer drops either so better to turn back and be safe 😅

Amazing drone work! Is the ticket only for the road? Did you get the machine to print one?
Yeah you have to pay £45 just to access the road! We never got a ticket but we just got waved through on the way down so we didn’t have to pay at all 😄 got really lucky that there were not tickets left 😂
discretion is the better part of valor as they say, you weren't at 100% so it is better not to risk it especially if there are other ways to get where you want to go but hey at least you got to see the sunrise! in my opinion there is nothing like seeing a sunset from a mountain regardless of size! also I loved seeing how you 2 cook eggs!
Totally, not worth risking! The view was still incredible where the van was, we didn’t realise there would be so much snow on the pathways still - in hindsight I think that’s why they didn’t charge us, because you couldn’t actually get to the 3 peaks thanks so the snow! Haha thanks 🥰
First of all, that view 😮😮😮 OMG! It looked amazing! However, with all due respect to Italy and the lake, I still hear Misery Lake 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ I don't know if I would have returned or not. I think it's a matter of your gut feeling and it can be different for everyone. I think knowing that your ankle is also not very stable played in your subconscient. I hope your ankle will heal soon ❤❤❤
The view was amazing! Misery lake 💀😂 it’s Misurina hahaha certainly not miserable there! And it was tough but the long drop threw me right off 😂 thank you ❤️❤️
The sheer drop would have put me off...some things are better admired from afar 😂
