I just wanna take a moment to appreciate SEVENTEEN's versatility and uniqueness. Not to mention the self-producing aspect, they go from pop to EDM to ballads to soul/funk to hiphop seamlessly. Every member is multi-talented (example: HOSHI OMG HE LEFT ME SHOOK) and every genre they delve into you can hear their signature style---the Woozi high note, the Vernon English line, S.Coup's unique voice inflections, I could go ON. For the hiphop their signature is the sampling of piano and/or jazz horns and keeping the instrumental really simple (which gives more attention to the voice). Woozi seems to like to use brass in his music in general. Their ballads have this 90s R&B feel to it (especially with chord choices). Their funky music is their signature with an asymmetrical song form and quirky verses. Every member is a dancer, and you can see that CLEARLY through this MV as their groove is almost effortless. I have stanned them since before the beginning and I continue to stan for this very reason.
