The web search helped figure out the spelling: it's Mollie Poupeney. I was amazed to see it pop up that she was from the small town in the San Francisco Bay Area where I grew up! The Moraga/Orinda area. And, in fact, I just came back to the video to see that print is called "Orinda Summer" -- WOW what a coincidence! I hope you ended up getting it (I'll find out as I finish this video), although not sure of the value. Looks like the Orinda Historical Society has some of her art pieces.

You are a “winter” in your coloring and that may be why you like bright colors with a blue tone. Royal Blue, Purple, Red ( with no yellow in it). If you wear those colors, you will pop! Try it and see.
I'm not sure if you are aware, you probably are .but I just found out that my frist uv light is a 395nm i upgraded to a uv 365nm and found some of my clear glass glows that did not glow with the 395nm. I was dumbfounded and pleasantly surprised. Thank you for sharing.

I am beyond envious of your thrift stores! I used to bring so much back from CA & AZ when I used to visit USA regularly when my dad was still alive. I'd scoop up baskets of costume jewelry & more often than not, find at least one piece worth decent $ amongst the lot. I sooo miss having access to those stores. We do have them here too but we don't have the jumbo size stores you guys have.

I just recently bought home where the previous elderly owner passed away. Her daughter wanted to sell the house with all of the furniture, dishes, bedding, lamps, pictures, basically everything left as her mother left it. So, I have a house chock full of antiques. Am I over the moon? You bet! However, I do find it sad that the deceased woman's daughter didn't want to keep or deal with at all, her mother's beloved items. So, your videos are a big help for me to try and gauge the value of these items. Luckily the Antiques Roadshow is coming to my town and I am hoping to take some of the items to be looked at. You can get battery operated taper candles that would fit in those snowflake holders.
