Many businesses that endorse these pint-sized underdogs often experience slowness and have a hard time getting around the daily workflow, but an upgrade like this could surely remedy the issue.

Thank you, this is a great instructional video. The steps are both clearly explained and depicted, and I'm excited to add a SATA III sdd to my newly purchased Beelink i5_8279U mini desktop (which, I must add, is a fantastic deal of a machine for its usual price listing, which is ~$450 - mine was $378+ tax on a sale I'd been keeping tabs on) because I've decided to replace my main/work computer with the little Beelink system. I wasn't expecting much from it, so what it delivered was the most pleasant surprise (especially when I fired up my favorite emulator to test it out for BOTW/some light gaming)!

Hi Jonah. It's my pleasure and you are very welcome. Most people underestimate the power of these small form factor PCs but as you know, they can be awesome. Plus, having a nice little machine sitting next to your monitor is way better than a big box. Cheers, Dave.

I was given one of these. I use it as a headless server as I prefer Mac OS.

Thanks for the tutorial. Did the performance improved considerably? The Intel celeron with 2gb of ram and only 32gb of emc storage makes it laggy, I'm thinking about adding a 4gb DDR3L-1600 to go along with the 2gb already installed, would that work? That way I'll get 6gb and windows 10 will thank me. I'll also add a Kingston 120gb ssd like yours since it's so cheap.
    Cheers

What kind of memory did you installed on your Nuc

      @@Junbug414 This one: CRUCIAL - SODDR3 4GB PC-12800 (1600 Mhz) 240 pin CL11
(CT51264BF160B). Now I have 6Gb and with a KINGSTON - SSDNow A400 120Gb this thing is very fast now. Intel is picky with RAM and I have to press the "Y" key when I start the PC since it warns me that it can be an incompatiable ram kit but its BS, its works perfectly. I recommend it!
