    Fantastic footage. I don’t think people realise just how skillful these pilots really are and the attention to detail on the Aircraft’s are second to nothing. Superb

    The way the plane is being filmed at 4:16 makes it look real!
    I guess it’s the angle of it

    So nice to see... The quad motors tucked in there ! COOLING ? Can the owners and builders of this set up explain the air flow in take and exit ? Even with the canisters are staying cool ? Impressive ! Shoot another You tube clip on how it works would be so helpful for us future builders ! And your weathering and paint is like spot on perfect.

    For me, tbobborap1's videos are the ultimate benchmark for rc videos. Especially in this field it is very easy to end up with a boring, droning and tedious video that only its poster could love. But tbobborap1, whoever you are, you keep them interesting and captivating to the last second. And thats not just the camerawork, but also with your superb editing skills.. I always enjoy your videos, keep them coming, you've got a fan in Canada ☺

    Beautifully built and controlled aircraft! The only thing missing that makes these the true menacing planes they actually were is the swastika.
    Sadly, political correctness has infiltrated the world of replica RC flying. So the Japanese Zero's red sun will probably be replaced by...a green apple!
    Beautiful video just the same. Thanks to those who build these great planes and to those who video them and put them on RUclips!

    How do you get adequate engine cooling and retain good scale appearance? My quarter scale overheats very quickly and requires significant, non-scale holes in the cowlng to avoid engine damage.
    Loved the flying - the landings demonstrated why nigh on half of 109 losses were from landing accidents. Not an easy beast to bring home safely!

    Way Back in 1968 or So. My Father ( (who was in the USAF 1956-1960) took me to a Store.... when I was 7 or 8 years Old. to the Modeling area. There were many different Plastic Models. I seen the P-40 Warhawk... with the teeth... REVEL. My father tried to switch my mind to get the P-40 BUT.... There was Also in Revel, the GRUN Hartz Messershmitt 109G. I built over 200 models of that Plane and have 30 more of various Scaled 109's in Metal die casts 1/32 and mostly 1/48. Why am I so connected to this Air Craft? Thanks for the Video.

    I love the GT3 AMG engine sound.
    Wouldn’t it be a good engine for some of the biggest RC models?
    It’s a V8 I think.
    That RC plane has kinda same real size Bf-109 sound. 😼

    Amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. I just can’t help but feel a bit hollow when I see these beautiful planes missing the swastika. Ya ya ya “it was a symbol of oppression” and all that to some people but it’s history. As a history buff it just irks me that some people try to write things they don’t like out of history books.

    • @tbobborap1
      @tbobborap1  6 лет назад

      thanks tom, I agree with you that the swastika should be left on, then when youngsters ask what it means they can be taught history and its meaning of fascism and hitlers henchmen and how 40 million people gave their lives over 5 years to end its oppression ! people must remember the two world wars and exactly what happened, the swastika evokes a lot of fear and resentment and denial but should always be displayed to make sure those lives were not wasted in vain !

      the crooked cross is banned in mainland Europe because of the fascist atrocities performed there over 80 yrs ago (WW2) but in the uk we endorse it so as to remember the 80+ million people that died in both world wars thus beating Hitlers scum army and allowing the rest of the world to live freely ! hope this answer helps 101 ?

    Why not install a scale propeller?

    • @tbobborap1
      @tbobborap1  4 месяца назад

      The reason most modelers only use two bladed props on their scale models is because most models only have a single cylinder two stroke engine in it and these engines simply do not produce any where Near enough power to turn a scale 3 or 4 bladed prop fast enough to get the model off the ground. That is why they are turning 2 blade props to suit the power output of the single cylinder engine, Don’t forget the real aircraft had V12 or 18 cylinder radial aero engines in them and the power to weight ratio is a lot different on a model aero engine - the bigger 250cc & 450cc (5 and 7 cylinders) radial engines can turn bigger 3 or 4 bladed props on them but they still might not be full scale props, and these big 3 or 4 blade props cost into the hundreds of pounds and if the model noses over the props are destroyed, imagine doing that 2 or 3 times over a weekend ! most people simply cannot afford such luxuries and resort to cheaper smaller models with cheaper smaller engines and props, Hope this info helps !
