this story really stuck on me more in comparison to the other otome game stories. So Im really happy that this one is plot focused. as games have a tendency to leave the story for a long while.

As someone who plays otome for story and characters rather than romance itself, I'm sooo hooked thus far. I loved how they just straight up dived into some darker things before any routes even started, that was unexpected and quite welcome. The art is so beautiful, and gameplay seems pretty relaxed so far with good balance of story/battles (looking at you, WHB... 5 battles for 1 short story segment was NOT the way to go). Even gacha doesn't seem too bad so far, decent chances and pity with 0.5 pull/day rate from dailies alone.
I kind of wish MC had a default name, because I adore her looks and personality. But I get that most mobile otomes go for self-insert blank slates... although she doesn't seem to be such anyway.
Also as a huge Cael simp I can't wait for him to actually get content, like you can't even raise his affection rn (or, well, it doesn't show, just "?" for level). Maybe the reason is plot-related or something, idk.
What really scares me is that it doesn't seem to have much of an english community for some reason? Despite apparently being pretty big on CN and definitely having quite a few players on EN already if friend activity and theater system are anything to go by... Like, WHB and TWST (not the best examples, but I'd say the target audience is decently similar?) had thousands people on their subreddits in the first day, and here it's basically a wasteland? I have already been burned by After L!fe a few years back, and apparently this game's KR version shut down as well, so the lack of attention really scares me... Especially since CN version is impossible to play without real ID. I reeeeeally don't want to get attached to characters for it to shut down suddenly. And I can't even support the game monetarily due to my country being cut off from being allowed to pay on play market for being pos.
Sorry for rambling, I was just too happy to see the game mentioned in the wild lol

@LinLinLavender I know right?? I much prefer the CN voices because I am learning Mandarin at the moment. I find it so hard to find otome games with CN voice. For example; MLQC (global) doesn't do CN voices even though it is from China. Really bugs me... 😅

@@LinLinLavender I love Tears of Themis in CN, Marius's voice actor gives me life with his "姐姐" 🤣 I also play Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail in CN though so those help me with the learning, but IMO, it is much easier to learn with otome games... especially modern ones! The other 2 games are so lore-heavy and has a lot of speciality words which I would hardly use outside of the games themselves. Hope there will be more of them! There's also Tale of Food if you haven't heard of it, it's not quite otome but you collect boys lmao

I was hoping you were going to make a video about this game!! Here I was thinking it would be a fun game to play before bed to settle down...I was so wrong. I'm not sure yet if he will be my favorite but I chose Alkaid for my first go because of Shinnosuke Tachibana and his dreamy voice. Alkaid is sweetheart, but I really hope he has a little spice too 😏🤞

I felt kinda overwhelmed with all the different things on the main menu (not to mention the buttons and text are a little small imo). I also don’t really think I’m a fan of the need to grind the card levels so much. The cards don’t level up fast compared the scaling og battle recommended levels and I don’t want to pull on the gacha yet. 😅
Any tips so I can get into it because I do find the story interesting.
I find the menu pretty easy to understand, maybe it's because I play similar games. Let me tell you, the Tears of Themis menu is a lot more ¨complicated¨and the game is more grind
@@btris3674 I’m used to tears of themis as I’m a day 1 player for it, but I find the text in it much easier to read than Lovebrush Chronicles. I think that’s the main issue for me.
Hm...I don't think you can avoid grinding? Maybe focus on level up recourses? But I'm not an expert at all 😅

Okay this is the second time I commented on yt, but truly this game blow up my expectations (in a good way). I already play this game for six days since the game come out and wowww the story is really good and have so many plot twist and bad ending (?) But not really bad. Maybe for some people this game can be a little grinding, but overall is good. This, Tears of Themis, and Mystic Messenger is my top 3 otome game. I kinda hope many people willing to try this new otome game.

God I’ve been waiting for someone to make a video about the game - trying to level up characters and waiting for my stamina refill cap to reset is absolute pain BUT the story is totally worth it (ayn my beloved). I only got it in hopes of getting an rpg that would actually install on my budget phone but I’m genuinely invested in the story now?

I was expecting to fall for Cael (I have a soft spot for silver-haired 2D men!) but he's still such a mystery so I don't know enough about him yet :D Right now my favs are Alkaid (his voice is so dreamy... 🥰 I just hope he's really that nice - or maybe it's too good to be true? xD) and Lars (this is a surprise since I usually don't like those confident types but he's making me blush 🤩 and I think there's more to him - I don't see him as the "villain" of the manga, we'll see!) I love the seiyuus of Clarence and Ayn, too - but sadly, I cannot connect with those characters, especially Clarence of the past is just... a big no xD @@LinLinLavender

Each male lead’s route reveals the story a bit more and the last route you find out the truth. Each male lead has his own route but it is explained that female lead restarts at a certain time in the universe’s timeline if it’s not the true ending. I personally love the concept.
Once you saved this ice world with the true ending the main character moves on to the next universe to save. Where the versions of the 4 guys will be there again.

Started same, or even better with Mr Love Queen's Choice... Yet, after years and cutting off VOICE LINES IN MAIN ROUTE for less place in game storage... I am still prisoner of excelent quality, stunning CGs... Yet, with reducing VA work for paid cards only, I ended untrustful toward new, Chinese games. One broken wallet (and half broken heart) is enough. No more money drainers. MLQC started freebie, easy for wallet, yet wonderfully twisted in plot game. Now, voiceless main plot hurts my heart, even if I log in daily for 20 minutes diamont maining. 🥺
No more CN games. 🥴

It took YEARS for MLQC too, when starting as absolute HIT, with JP and ENG voicing, but pandemy and enormous quality of game, aka its big storage taking, made game cut bit by bit, so, yeah. No attachment, just in case... Through Your game looks less 'quality/realism', so maybe it will survive, with pandemy behind. Through, like with MLQC, if You fall for it, You can be fan of game, even if it lose most fandom and GOSH DARN MAIN STORY VOICING. 😅🤷🏻♀️
