I forgot I was listening to instrumentals on a playlist while I was listening to this and I was thinking "man this song starts a lot later than i thought"
Lost found off the ground, lost in the rhythm, lost in the sound, get what you’re given, examine with precision, nothing around, but we keep liven, darkness inbound, welcome to the dog pound, are you lost, do you know what it cost, do you know who you crossed, see this the thing life all wavey, perception falsely guided through a common misdirection, are you guessing what I’m getting, the pressure is never ending, I wish I was pretending, we’re surrounded by a lot, no way to turn off, busy busy minds never gonna stop
Well, I wouldn't say always better, but better to listen to while doing some other task like that requires concentration. I listen to instrumentals because I don't want it to be completely silent while doing homework also, we have the same profile pic... just thought I would mention it
Demon Days is my favorite Gorillaz album just because I feel like this was the era that the bass really got to shine the most. I don't think enough people realize that the bass guitar really does make a song... It just feels like we're missing more of that. Same with the whole gritty, grimy 2000's spice that really made Gorillaz well.... Gorillaz. Without that grime, it just doesn't feel quite the same. Don't get me wrong, I still love the band with my whole heart... I just wish we'd get back to that old 00's grime and grit that drew me to Gorillaz in the first place.
The instrumental IMO always leaks a nice grimy, kind of dirty alternative hip hop sound. Most of this is due to the bassline. It simply kind of guides the song along and everything else just cascades into place.
I’m only 15 but I love the early 2000s and I think Gorillaz was at their peak there. I wish I could experience it. I mean they’re still cool now but this is their best style I wish they still had it and I wish the quality of their interviews were still like that
It was definitely better the new stuff just doesnt feel as intricate just boring as hell, I remember seeing the dirty harry music video air in the living room when i was little on MTV good ol days🥲
I always love the car accelerating and decelerating in the background, makes it feel really gritty and urban
the end part is pure heaven
Can replay that shit forever.
Lord Krius boi me too
Reeeaaaaal
The guitar riff is fire 🔥
The intro sounds like a Bully soundtrack
+Shamara van Wesel It kinda does actually
Well, the Nerds and Jimmy do care some impressive heat for teenagers...
"sounds like a bully soundtrack"
*KIDS WITH GUNS*
YES
They say they were troublemakers
I forgot I was listening to instrumentals on a playlist while I was listening to this and I was thinking "man this song starts a lot later than i thought"
This comment has the same energy as John Mulaney's "salt and pepper diner" bit and made me laugh way harder than I should have🤣🤣🤣
legit gonna be walking down a hallway while playing this and feeling like the baddest badass ever. 😂
the end of the songs instrumental is SO GODDAMN GOOD
Mucha nostalgia sentí escuchando esto. Gracias por el video.

i thought im playing the actual song and was wondering when is the singing part gonna start
I've definitely heard this in the background of a Shoe0nHead video...
Intrumentals are always better than the original. A great example is Nujabes' music
Or J Dilla
or melanie martinez
Well, I wouldn't say always better, but better to listen to while doing some other task like that requires concentration. I listen to instrumentals because I don't want it to be completely silent while doing homework

I think Gorillaz still has grime, they just changed their art aesthetic to something else
you keep expecting the lyrics that don't come
oh my god i hate 2dle
I was thinking to myself how kids with guns its almost instrumental laready, then I remembered IT HAS lyrics, lmao
Might aswell add them yourself

*Foster The People - Kids With Guns*

yeah same i am 12 but omg the old gorillaz are so better than new gorillaz
Same here bro early 2000s music was and still is absolute 🔥 and I wish I was there to see it all begin
I sorta agree? I still love them 100% and I believe they’re still going strong, but I dunno
2:40 to 3:50 is the best bit
This feels like it's the theme song of a really badass character that have an epic introduction
0:59 where it all begins
You should scream this one
*0:37
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa tu eres el de los vídeos de cantando canciones de Gorillaz pero como un grito tenemos por ejemplo como feel good inc
I can finally get a good clear sound of all the instruments now, sounds incredible
2:59 Still has Damon mumbling in the background, otherwise, good edit
Not an edit. It's the official instrumental from a promo Demon Days Instrumentals CD.
I think Neneh Cherry is singing in that part of the song
Oh, I love kids with guns just because of the instrumental
i know this was 3 years ago, but that sounds.... oddly American
PUSH IT, PUSH IT REAL
Muchas gracias for uploading this good quality instrumental version. Much appreciated!!
THE END PART IS HEAVEN LIKE ID REPLAY THAT SHT FOREVER

This song gives me the grandest feelings of nostalgia, even though I'd never heard it until this year... it feels just... awesome.
This is the kind of stuff you'd listen to while dealing guns during Vietnam war
Foxcade used this and the instermetal version of re-hash in his malcom in the middle video
I'll Love this instrumental for the rest of my life
Today I learned that this song and Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” are about the same thing.
What is it about?
@@RatInVoid So the idea I got from it was “kids with guns”. They both sound related to school shootings
If there is an instrumental to Last Living Souls I will cry
There is one
The ending is so amazing oml
L'm love Kids with Guns & O Green World.
2:40 the best part
02:40 God is Coming 🎵🎶🕪🙌
best music
Kids with guns kids with guns
ShoeOnHead anyone?
this sounds like something out of a bart bonte flash game
Am I the only one who likes the instrumental better?
The chorus line arpeggio is what makes this song.
Man, that ending…
