My go to lens too, but now I recently bought the 18mm f2 for it’s size for street, love that compact setup too now 😊
I need to get my hands on the 18mm f2 for a video.
@@AndreiDimaReviews it’s a lovely underrated lens in my opinion, I managed to get a brand new one at a heavily discounted price because it was a stock that never sold 😊
The perfect combo!
Lovely images and recommendations
Thank you!
best duo lens with 18mm f1.4 !
what is your film simulation recipe at 3:01 and 3:13 ? I really like the way the greens look.
A video on your favorite film simulations would be cool !
Thanks for the content ! BB
Thanks a lot! It's Classic Chrome with some editing in post. I will release a video like that soon.
Oh great !
I loved this lens - but sold it along with my x-t5 - great video, subbed!
Thank you!
Your photos make me want to visit Granada again! 💃🕺
Go for it!
I got into photography using an analog Canon A1 w/ FD 50mm 1.4. It was actually a really nice beginner lens, because there is less clutter in my frame, it makes it easier to compose for me. If that makes sense... Anyway, I can't wait to try this one on my X-T5! It seems so versatile. Thanks for your review, it helped me make my decision. Your videos are very well made!
Thank you! I am glad my video was helpful!
I had it last year but for me it was too big and heavy. Wonderful image quality but the size didn't worked for me. I still prefer my 27 mm pancake as allrounder and my 35 mm☺️
Those are both great lenses!
Nice video, Andrei. I’ve heard such great things about this lens, but since I do not shoot professionally - my 10 year old 35mm 1.4 works for photos and my new 23mm 1.4 LM WR for videos.
The 35mm is an amazing lens for photography!
It's one of my top lenses!
I know. You took some amazing portraits with it!
The 33 1.4 lens is excellent, but I prefer the Zeiss touit 32 1.8. The colors and the way it renders are, oh my.
I’ve been looking for that lens, hard to find were I live.
Can you please drop a video of giving a step by step guide on how to adjust your XT5 settings for street photography including custom settings for the front and back dial. I’m a beginner photographer who just recently bought the XT5 and the 33mm f1.4 lens. It’s really hard to find content that shows step by step guide for the settings.
Ok, will do.
I love that lens and the 23mm equally
They are both great.
This is one of my favorites, it comes in third for me, behind the 18mm and 23mm... and far, far ahead of the Viltrox 27mm which weighs a ton and balances badly on my camera.
I am going to buy the 18mm soon.
Just got my copy, it’s a monster of a lens
Yes, the Fujifilm XF 33mm f1.4 is an amazing lens!
Thank you
You're welcome
Love the colours of the video footage at 3:34. Is this graded FLog 1, Flog 2, or a film simulation? Would love to know the recipe if it’s SOOC 🔥
It is Provia, contrast -2, highlights -2, colour -1.
Thanks so much!
Do I see some shots from Burgos in there?
No photos from Burgos. Girona, Aviles, Valencia and Granada. I haven't been to Burgos yet, but I want to.
Is the focus and/or autofocus of this lens noisy when used in an X-T5? I want to use it for video!
I have always torn apart what lens I need to use when street photography. My default lens is xf27, but sometimes I miss my xf33 at home🤣. I love xf 27 as a small lens and it is very discreet as if my camera is a toy camera, but I love xf33 motor speed and color better vs xf27 albeit it's size and weight.
The 27mm is such a nice lens!
Thanks for the video. Which do you recommend between XF 33mm f1.4 and Yongnuo 33mm f1.4?
If you want it just for photography, get the Yongnuo, it is cheaper. If you want it for both photo and video, get the Fujifilm.
This Lens or the Viltrox 27mm ?
@@erjonpovataj1468 Viltrox
@ i have a xt30 ii, I think the Viltrox e little too big for this caméra ?
@@erjonpovataj1468 yes, it is a bit big for your camera. Try the 35mm f2 or get this one.
@@AndreiDimaReviews thanks, I think the 33mm will be a better choice
@@AndreiDimaReviews how come??
