Hey Becca! Thanks for this. I'm an elementary percussion teacher. It's been an up and down road teaching kids rhythm and things. My method is starting with stories. I thought about using different percussion to show how rhythm can be evoked by anything we used, including our bodies. Another is using rhymes, specifically rap.
