'The Wonder Years' stars reunited

- For five years, the hit TV series 'The Wonder Years' brought families together for a wholesome look back at an all-American childhood.
The show followed the lives of Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold played by Danica McKellar and Fred Savage.
Fans remember the show fondly.
"All these years later that they still think about the show; that the show still means something to them. Only now is it really settling in how the show has endured," said Savage.
The co-stars are currently promoting the DVD version of 'The Wonder Years.' The complete set is packaged inside a miniature school locker.
"Inside is even more amazing. They went and did so much research. They got pictures and behind-the-scenes photos, Kevin and Winnie's notebooks from school,' said McKellar.

Hey, of course it was funny. I was just saying that in US the meaning of sitcom- means situation comedy, where people laughing in the background and you can actually hear their laughs;) all others...no matter how funny they are, you can't call them sitcom...it's all started from the generation of ' I Love Lucy' and even before. But you're not wrong, it was funny with many sad moments;)

I can’t watch I Love Lucy without laughing. Sometimes I forget how funny actors and writers were back then without having to be bold and risky like now days.
People who don't like this show or say it sucks are wrong. It was the best show on TV.

I like that both Fred and his brother Ben had each a successful show, Wonder Years and Boy Meets World. The coming of age...something kids can watch from new generations.

I think of the show. I grew up a fan HOPING, one day they'd release it on DVD and was excited that my favorite show was finally out and I could on it. Danica grew up to be even mire beautiful and... uses a math GENIUSES. Fred is now a successful director and the rest of the cast didn't fall into the "child stars who had gone bad" category. So glad to see Winnie and Kevin again ☺.

One of the best shows to air on TV. Danica looks so beautiful!!!! The show was so true to life, the way it was growing up. I can't wait till season 4 is on DVD!!!!

A TV series as well conceived as real and emotional issues that left me hooked, I have 33 years and I still look great, I'm glad this doing well.

Cool DVD packaging -- I hope the DVDs and/or syndication turn more younger people on to such a quality, life-affirming show. Also, Danica is absolutely radiant.

Damn,I miss old tv shows,I'm glad I grew up in the 80's and 90's…young people now a days really have nothing to grow up on,today's tv shows suck,even cartoons were cool back then,cartoons are not what they use to be now of days.

ggarcia713 i thinks its not the fact all shows are bad now BUT THERE ARE JUST SO MANY .. we had 4-5 channels (60 if you had cable but there were only like 13 real network channels) ... so pretty much everyone your age grew up on same shows ((you remember making joke with a reference from a TV show and EVERYONE COULD GET IT ???? kids now would have to preface the joke like, do you watch the show on channel 365 ? called blah blah ((even then its unlikely your watching the same shows as them , IF THEY EVEN WATCH SHOWS ON TV))

Hah yeah they both started looking uneasy.
I remember a news headline back when that said something about kevin making an inappropriate pass at her off screen and there was some big scandal..the headline was "is fred a real savage?!"
That was Kevin and Wayne who were supposed to have made an inappropriate pass at a make up or costume girl and went to court but Fred savage was cleared of all charges

i think the reason it was so successfull was becasue of the narations from kevin, it's almost like the waltons which also had narations by john boy. i think that was the secret behind both of these family series and off course the actual families theme, who were so close nitted and the fact it was something from the past. being narated by the main charcter. it also had the feeling of nostalgia for the viewers. its a pitty they don't make series like that anymore, probably because the world of today is too destructive for people to belive in times when life was much more pleasant.
the wonder years was a great show with fred savage on it which lead me to see boy meets world as well.

You could see that they were slightly annoyed, but they were being polite.
It was nice to see the Fred still has a little bit of Kevin Arnold's boyhood excitement in him.
Was the best show of the time for young people. Laid the format for Malcolm in the Middle and Whatever is on now, think its just called The Middle. Won't beat this though! It was one of the first shows to go 'period', which is very fashionable now!

In fact it did get cancelled because ABC didn't want to explore a more mature side of Kevin Arnold. The 8pm time slot and the fact that little brats watched it ruined the show. Thanks people and ABC.
