- When first getting started reselling couches it’s difficult to find what couches sell.
The way I learned was to spend months of trail and error with hundreds of couches🗓
Finding what couches sell for what.
Based on that I’ve found that on average
-Loveseats sell from $100-300
-3 seater sofa $150-350
-sofa chaise $300-500
-2pc sectionals $400-700
-2pc sec with ottoman $400-800
-3pc sec w/ Ottoman $500-900
There is many factors that go into how you can maximize profits. I share them at the beginning of the video !

Dayum. Straight to the point. Don't see many vids like this. I just got 3 couches yesterday and picking 2 up tomorrow. I'm fucking nervous honestly. The clock is ticking and I'm learning as I go... Got a storage unit too. Vehicles is no problem though. I have a moving service so that helps some... Still... I'm not rich and kinda scared to lose money. I have 2 little girls 4 and 8. I'm doing it for them, just hope it doesn't hurt more than help.
Thanks for this video man. I learned a lot. Tomorrow, hoisting down a couch from 3rd floor. Guy said it cost 2500 and got him down to 200. Sectional... Fingers crossed.

Made about 5k in 2 months. I'm sure I can make more but it takes up a lot of time searching for couches. Will do it again once summer is over. Good side hustle. Time consuming though

Well that’s the other thing bro - they pay cash!!! 💵 and I’m in New Zealand got the fabric shaver, sold my sports car and got a truck and spent a ton on cleaning equipment and everything ^_^ we are moving into a workshop in the next few weeks and I just quit my 6 figure corporate job after phasing into this full time.

One of the biggest problems in my market is that only FB is viable for buying and selling. Offerup and Craigslist are basically dead markets. Sucks.

could you make a video regarding removal of varius stains...ie stains from old ink, sharpie, water damage ...ect. I ran into these and have had no luck getting rid of the stains.

Where do you guys tend to sell the couches? What websites? Craigslist offer up?
What are your thoughts on multi-piece sets? I have a fearher/down-filled 4pc set (couch, loveseat, chair, ottoman) I'm trying to price and not sure what to do.
Multi piece sets I sometimes sell separately to maximize profits. Or list it all together and mention in the description that you can sell them separately or all together for a deal.
Last multi pc set I had was a huge 3 seat sofa and oversized chair from Ashley furniture. Grey and in great condition I sold for $550. So you should be able to make $600 + once all sections are sold! Don’t over think it though, get it on the market and see what happens 💰
How do you move the couches by yourself? Especially the ones with the recliner chairs and pull out beds
Haven't flipped a couch so my question might reflect this. What about urine or bugs/fleas especially with pet friendly houses. Do you ever run into these situations?
I’ve never had a couch with bugs in that case scenario Id probably toss it and cut my losses if it was a invasive bug that could affect other inventory.
But for pet friendly couches, id use the tools shown in my cleaning video, plus some smell good spray like odobon, or a bit of white vinegar and baking soda on a real bad urine smell. But obviously, those couches are the worst and stay away from them at all costs haha but in emergencies those tools should work.

Hey! When it's said that we should aim to make a profit of at least $200 or more, is that gross or net profit? Thanks!
$200 gross profit (sale price after the cost of couch) is a good start but ideally when you have momentum and know what you’re doing you want that to be after cost of couch + gas. Which is really a beginner margin aim but nonetheless a great goal to aim at since there is so much inventory out there that you can make 200 on!

Hey Dontae I have just listed a 3 seater couch for 300 and it has not been selling I need some help.
repost and lower the price by $25-50 every 24-48hrs till you start getting interest. Once you start getting a healthy amount of interest(couple messages a day) keep it real close to that price till you sell.
Taking better pics and simplifying the description could help as well
