The issue with all 1070 Ti benchmarks is that Nvidia forced partners to ship the cards out at stock speeds. This was so that the card would not natively ship to compete with the base 1080. It also skews these benchmark scores. Its easy to download vendor software to bring the cards up to a factory overclock (the software is required to adjust this). To compensate in most benchmarks, take the 1070 Ti score and add 10%. Or simply compare it with 1080 scores. Why is a 1070 Ti overclocked so close in performance to a 1080? They share the same GPU chip. The 1070 Ti however is crippled by slower VRAM and Nvidia locked out some other OC adjustments that would have allowed it to surpass the 1080. I'm not saying go out and buy a 1070 Ti. But if you already own one, add the 10% or use 1080 (non-Ti models) as a benchmark to compare your card to newer cards. Video proof below. Dude I'm really confused maybe a 1070ti could compare OC but not with the Super. I honestly thought the same but after watching the video I linked below I am blown away by the performance deference between the 1070ti and just the standard 2060. I was honestly not going to get a 2060 just for the ray tracing when "I thought" I could just get a 1070ti for cheaper and get the same performance but this video proves my theory wrong - ruclips.net/video/iIKiNeHDtO0/видео.html Basically the 2060 is achieving 10 + more frames. I am in the United States and I do not want to deal with huge shipping costs of over seas shipping. Someone help your boy out please.
From the benchmarks There is literally only maybe a 10 FPS difference between the two. So really it just comes down to pricing . In my country there is a $200 to $400 difference. So I'm pretty set on the 2060 Super. Even the 2060 standard is surprisingly a lot more powerful then what I initially thought. So in my gigabite aorus 1070 ti OC i get in GTA V in 4k with all maxed out, including AA and nvidia shadows over 60 fps all day and you only get 50 with no AA...? WTFFF...
to start off, 4k on gta v would require more than 8gb vram. Do you have 4k monitor? or do you use nvidia dsr resolution scaling option which is known to be well optimized
He didn't OC his is why. 1070 Ti has really good OC headroom, manufacturers were not allowed to OC it cuz it made the 1080 look bad so its stock performance isn't that good.
