Many thought they were saved because of their good works and who they are and what they are willing to do and God shakes his head in disappointment. I ask God is one saved because of his work god? God is disappointed. I ask again, because of who they are? God is also disappointed and he shows that it is his grace and yes the bible is that true.

@@DrJacob-z6l Me too. To be honest I am very lost as well and I don't know what's going and what to do. If we look at the Israelites, they were also lost and they did not know what to do and they suffered a lot!
@@DrJacob-z6lwe are saved by grace through faith & not by OUR works (Eph 2:8-9) yet unto good works after being saved (Eph 2:10).
But consider:
"From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”" Matt 4:17
The thing is, repentance is a gift and a work of God. We can't drum it up nor do it on our own.
So, like so many biblical commands (Be holy for I am holy; love God with all your heart, soul, mind & strength, do not lie, do not lust; those who love Me obey Me, etc. ) while we are called to do them, we can't actually do them! Rather, it is JESUS who does the work in our heart that causes us to repent, and enables us to love, obey, etc.
2 Tim 2:24-26 says, "And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness **in the hope that God may grant them repentance** leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will." (Emphasis mine)
That's part of the mystery, the glory and the Great news of the gospel!
"Faithful is He who calls us and HE will do it." 1 Thess 5:24
So, ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you, and to grant you repentance. Ask Him to be Lord of your life (turning away from your sins and obeying His word (instructions found in the bible)
To be saved, you have to believe in the name of Jesus, repent of your sins (ask God for forgiveness), be baptized, and ask the Lord to give you the Holy Spirit (to be born again). Jesus said so in his word: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned"~St. Mark 16:16; and also "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"~St. John 3:5.
Read St. John 3:1-17; Romans 6; and Romans 10:9-10
Regarding faith and works, when we have faith in God we also have to have works, or put forth an effort in believing God will answer your prayers. If you ask God to help you lose weight, your works is you going to the gym and exercising. The Lord helps us daily, but we have to put forth an effort when we say we have faith in God. Read James 2:14-26🙏🏽
However, there is another type of works that he have to do while on this earth. This type of works is the deeds that we do in our daily life. After we are saved, Christ requires us to live righteously before him and be without sin. Do not give into the temptations of sin. The Holy Spirit is a comforter and guide, and prevents us from sinning. Those who have the Holy Spirit (are born again) live a clean life in Jesus and do not sin because the Holy Spirit guides us in the right direction. Obey the Spirit always. Those who have turned away from Christ have disobeyed the Spirit, and are going about life in the wrong way. In Revelation 22:12, Jesus says: "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be"; and in Romans 14:10-12, "But why dost thou judge thou brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God."
Those who are not living righteously when Jesus returns, will not make it into the kingdom of God. Read Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1-9; and 22:12-16
Christ is the way to salvation and eternal life. He can clean you up. If you have not received salvation, you can today while you have a chance 🙏🏽

Luke 1:77 (KJV) To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the (remission of their sins,)

Corey is my son and I love him so very much but he is not well at all I just want him back 😂
I don’t know what to do. A long term friend of mine is possessed and won’t admit it since she’s a witch. We have been best friends for nearly a decade.
But I’m tired of satan using her to unknowingly attack me.
I have tried to tell her that our time has come to a close, but she was so upset I stopped trying to leave.
Now I’m just angry with her a lot for stuff she’s not doing.
This is something that only the Lord can handle. This evil needs to be cast out of her. You need to separate yourself from her. Ask God to strengthen and protect you. You need to rebuke the devil and all evil that is attacking her and you. Pray hard 🙏🏽 By the power of the blood of Jesus, I rebuke the devil and all evil that is attacking you and your friend!
