Fully support. I feel this. I went rustic cabin "camping" a few weeks ago with full intention of making a video. When I got there, I just didn't want to run the camera. YT is not my full time job, so I changed plans and *just went camping, you know, for *fun. It was awesome and relatively relaxing. I sat with myself and my thoughts instead of fretting over the next shot. Good for the soul. Prayers up for success and clarity on all your business ventures and plans.
I am just a small RUclips channel but I still find it fulfilling because I film when I can and I share what I know and the progress that I make mostly with my canoe restorations. For those of us that have never made a dime off making content… I support you 100% and this is what I strive to keep. I simply record my adventures and want to immortalize them in way that’s fun to watch… if people come along then I’m happy. If not, I’m happy. What I never want to do is be a slave to putting stuff out just to put it out… I want to enjoy the trip, and feel the inspiration to shoot. There are plenty of trips I’ve brought my camera and not shot because I either have already done video too similar, or I just wasn’t feeling it. And let’s all address the elephant in the outdoor YT space: I never want to do cringey thumbnails, no fake shots I have to go back and get the camera I passed, just capturing what I think will be interesting to watch as it happens. Anyway. Good on you and stay true. You’ll end up on top 🤙🏽

yes life DOES change, and for any of your subscribers to expect yours to stay the same as we all spin along is just crazy! you do you with yours, and we'll catch up with you as you're able. you've given so much to the sector in sharing bushcraft skills, basic living stuff like making your own beeswax wraps and trying to maintain a low impact life, and you even gave us glimpses into the life you're living which you love (wedding shenanigans... what?! thanks for that, it was beautiful!) .... what more should we expect? looking forward to having you share your enjoyment of getting out on your own, with others, in your canoe, on the houseboat, biking in the bush or just stuff around the home. your life is yours, and we're just tickled you want to share a glimpse of the adventure with us!

It's a shame , I'd rather watch RUclips then regular TV I get more out of watching Bushcraft video's , they should get more .. in there own way these RUclips channels on Bushcraft are celebrities in their own way .. are they not ?? So they to should be paid , they do their own stunts work and film .. I'd love to know how cause I'd be filming too .. in my own way outdoors ... 🫡
I don't know but, I think it's probably because of so many people jumping into tube and they don't have any idea what they want to do.. they're just watering it down... The flood of crap content is just coming out of the woodwork,!
The trouble is the tone of the videos changed from just a girl and her dog in the woods camping and bush crafting(very popular) to more of a self-pity, whining event so her views dropped…that’s why the money dropped.

yes life DOES change, and for any of your subscribers to expect yours to stay the same as we all spin along is just crazy! you do you with yours, and we'll catch up with you as you're able. you've given so much to the sector in sharing bushcraft skills, basic living stuff like making your own beeswax wraps and trying to maintain a low impact life, and you even gave us glimpses into the life you're living which you love (wedding shenanigans... what?! thanks for that, it was beautiful!) .... what more should we expect? looking forward to having you share your enjoyment of getting out on your own, with others, in your canoe, on the houseboat, biking in the bush or just stuff around the home. your life is yours, and we're just tickled you want to share a glimpse of the adventure with us!

I retired as of this year. I'm retired and do street photography using b&w film and getting on a motorcycle and travel the U.S. bushcrafting and shooting street photography.

It's a shame , I'd rather watch RUclips then regular TV I get more out of watching Bushcraft video's , they should get more .. in there own way these RUclips channels on Bushcraft are celebrities in their own way .. are they not ?? So they to should be paid , they do their own stunts work and film .. I'd love to know how cause I'd be filming too .. in my own way outdoors ... 🫡
I don't know but, I think it's probably because of so many people jumping into tube and they don't have any idea what they want to do.. they're just watering it down... The flood of crap content is just coming out of the woodwork,!
The trouble is the tone of the videos changed from just a girl and her dog in the woods camping and bush crafting(very popular) to more of a self-pity, whining event so her views dropped…that’s why the money dropped.
