  • Brian Rose is running for London Mayor, trailing controversy and scandal. Check out the recent Rebel Wisdom piece with Coffeezilla for background: • Brian Rose's London Ma...
Rose became well known through the RUclips channel London Real, which began as a two-person show, with co-host Nic Gabriel (Nic Gregoriades).
One day in 2013 however, Nick simply vanished from the show, with no explanation given. Since then he has watched from the sidelines and kept his silence. However, he now feels the time has come to speak out.

Right self teaching is extremely valuable, but there are people who may be able to teach you things or at least point you in the right direction. Sometimes people dont know where to start or what path to take. I learnt my job from such a generous person whom I owe my whole future to. Brian Rose is a bad apple. Unfortunately the self help industry attracts a lot of scammers.

I did that original promo video and I still have the out takes here with me. Brian Rose is a narcissist I should of known that after I recorded his segment as he wanted to constantly redo the interview or see what he looked like, when I told him several times that I had what I needed, I flew over there for free and the production was a gift from me. When he started to use clips of it to solicit memberships I asked him to stop as that was not the intention of my gift. Then he just cut me off and never got back to me. Nic on the other hand is an angel and I trust his intentions. It was nice while it lasted.

But let’s be honest here, after that incident it was “London Real” in name only - the “Real” left with Nic. (So I suppose it’s just “London” now actually)
I know if I were in Nic’s shoes, seeing something I helped build being bastardised as one man’s ego-stroking grifting machine would really bite - so at least the legacy of what made the original London Real so great resides with Nic - and not Brian and his wilting rose. 🥀

As for my profession, I build homes and my layman's hobby is depth psychology. So regarding the grown men that you speak to? It's more like arrested development and the unconscious father projections (anima possession in Jungian terms) onto Dan, which is the very feed that enables him to groom. I say that because I did the same thing with Brian when I met him at the accelerator weekend graduation meet up!
So, back to my point, a true mentor will encourage you to become more conscious of what you want in life and help you to set goals, not reinforce the very philosophy that keeps you dissociated from your authentic passion. The corporate world is dominated by "conditioned robots", to quote Robert Anton Wilson.
If I ever met Dan I would pop his bubble with a confrontational query. "Why have you not grieved the time when you were locked in that school cupboard as a boy?"

As Nic said, Brian Rose has some good sides, he himself learned a lot from him. Having said that, I don’t justify any unethical behaviour. But I don’t think it’s correct to demonise anyone! Nobody is perfect! Brian Rose is clearly struggling with himself, the same as we all are. Everyone of us has his/her own challenges, we all have our particular, private cross to bare on our shoulders.
I know how it feels to work or deal with these narcissists, they can hurt a lot! But when you understand their traits, that they’re just deeply hurt little kids, then you can deal with them in a more appropriate way.
I don’t think Brian Rose wanted to do any harm to anybody, he just uses his resources as he was taught to use them. And for some people “resources” include other people, their knowledge, abilities and personal contacts... That’s the way it is.
Instead of harshly criticising Brian Rose, we should all pay attention to our own behaviour, to focus on practicing kindness, forgiveness and compassion.
And then we may even be able to appreciate the good sides of things and of other people despite all the bad things.
In this case, even though I probably couldn’t trust Brian Rose as a person, I appreciate his work. The quality and quantity of the interviews he has done is mostly excellent. So are the documentary films he’s produced (reconnect and the one about Ido Portal are really great!).

I think it was the ayahuasca documentary, it was a part where Brian’s wife was talking about how they went on a trip for their son’s birthday and Brian was so restless and discontent that he flew home...and missed his son’s birthday. It was heartbreaking and, from my perspective, indicative of the hungry ghost inside of him that is driving the bus-keeping him from being present with himself and those closest to him. For Brian, I wish healing for in true healing he may seek to make amends, ask for forgiveness and move forward with integrity and wholeness. I hope those who have been hurt by him are also able to heal. I appreciate this interview. Thank you for sharing.

Narcissism is caused by a negative entity highjacking the soul of a person and causes them to behave very destructive. It was interesting to see that in this documentary he did seem quite sincere when he spoke about his personal challenges. I do think hebwamts to change, but he does not have the capacity to do so. Yes, we know how easily the perception of someone is influenced by superficialities. For example It is well researched that good looking people are perceived as trustworthy (among other positive characteristics). With being aware of that, when you get a weird vibe from someone you rationally want to push that aside and want to be open minded. However you probably sense a weird vibe because something is not congruent with that person. I met Brian before he and Nic started the podcast and I felt that way as well.

Brian told us it was the lost and crying 7-year old inside him wanting love. But didn't seem to hesitate as he kept driving on toward "success." It looked to me as if he is running for a 7-year old's idea of success. Jung says the power drive is often the chosen path for those who didn't get love. Narcissism occurs in the critical phase of brain development. I used to be a bit of a self centred egotistical d**k, after so long I started listening to the feedback people were giving me, and made an effort to change. It’s nieve to think that this is similar to a narcissist, a true narcissists pain goes so deep that no amount of introspection will ever alleviate it. It’s hardwired. That said, not all narcissists are the same, and some of them can be sort of... pseudogenuine people, they’re trying. But it’s a mental illness after all

When I try to get a sense of people, without even trying, one of the first things I think is- "would this dude even piss on me if I was on fire?" My sixth sense about Mr. Rose is not only "no"... but that if he thought it could benefit him in some way he would spray me with gasoline. If that's a f*****-up way to think then I guess that's my problem but dude has "It" undulating off of him.

I wish a lot of compassion for all the naive people who believed Brian Rose. Me included. Some people need to suffer first and get Real feedback from Reality, before they can see who they really are.

@@DavidJeromePutnam I agree with that, but I would add that njh beats probably also feels compassion for those like yourself, but just thinks it's important to highlight the root cause of these souls who are causing so much damage to other people. We need to have a realistic sense of what creates it to know how to prevent our society from creating more such people. In all of these sorts of reveals I think there's a tendency to go towards judgement or condemnation and while there isn't necessarily anything wrong with condemning bad behavior, I think judgement is trickier. I think we can condemn bad behavior and still have compassion for those committing it, because without that we're somewhat lost on the real cause of "evil" (which I tend to feel is trauma, lack of love, pain).
