I've been going from hospital to hospital for the past 8-9 months now! I have spent all my money on medication... I'm completely broke now! I pray that God gives me one more chance to change everything.... ❤❤❤ Pray for me please

    When I was 17, I stopped eating meat, I never liked it, especially beef. My mom made us eat liver now and then. I dreaded it and would swallow it whole with milk. I ate mainly vegetarian for ten years, and never had weight problems, naturally very lean. Fast forward 50 years, overweight, still generally healthy as I've always had a healthy diet, just eating the wrong foods for my A- blood type. I went back to vegetarian, eating mainly fish for meat and tofu to get protein, very little cheese, no milk and some fruit, berries. I've lost 18 pounds without even trying, have about 5 more pounds to go to get to ideal weight. My body knew what I needed before I was even aware of this blood type diet. Thanks for sharing this informative video!

    Being an 'A' blood type, I can vouch for the vegetarian diet, but you will not take away my potatoes...lol I balance what I should eat for my blood type with what I should eat during the phases of my monthly cycle. Combined with exercise and meditation I'm able to make better subconscious choices. I'm eating mostly organic and for my blood type during the week. On the weekend I enjoy either ice cream, a burger, or some other naughty treat I've been craving all week. Thank you doc for keeping the info coming...

      @@zulyg8393 Hm great question! Well in the book Dr. Butts is referring to, I believe there may be recipes, but I can help you develop a few recipes that will fit your diet journey based on what you like and what you might want to try. I think this would be a great way to start a channel based on this diet, or highlighting different forms of conscious eating based on research. Drop me a message @angieinsta12 we'll figure it out! I love food, so any way I can have both comfort in my body as well as while eating I'm all for it.

      @NikoleHuber Год назад +3

      I also have trouble giving up potatoes. I seem to be able to handle them just fine. Curious -- when you eat your 'treat' over the weekend -- are there any negative effects for you? Bloating, low energy, tummy ache, etc? I'm on day 5 of this diet and had a half a ham sandwich last night -- big no no, and my stomach is not super happy this morning.

    • @angiepurpleyoda
      @angiepurpleyoda Год назад +4

      @@NikoleHuber Well I notice a difference when I'm strictly eating for my blood type and suddenly I 'cheat'. I can feel inflammation and just overall grogginess, laziness, etc. I notice if I eat twice a day for my bloodtype then I have something that is not, it doesn't affect me as much. Long as you have detox moments you should be able to eat what you want at least 2-3 times a week without it being detrimental to you. If I eat something I know is against my bloodtype, I mix it with something that is for my blootype and have more of it. When I'm cooking and have a craving for something that is not, I make sides or I include more things that are for my blood type. I eat what I want on the weekend, but I don't overdo it. I still juice and drink tea. During my cycle I don't care as long as I'm comforted by what I eat. I do drink more beet juice. I make up for it the next 3 weeks by eating better 😁 It helps to have regular bowel movements as well to get the bad things out of your body.

I was on Keto diet and it was way too much protein for me. I think you know what you crave and what you dislike. I have always loved veggies. My husband is type O and a true carnivore and hates anything green! I cook two separate meals almost everyday. He is 81, I am 72 and we are not taking any prescriptions. It’s possible you could be a non-secretor (as am i) which the Blood Type Diet covers.
      Type A non-secretors can tolerate more red meats such as lamb and mutton, and it is said they’re more likely to be more prone to insulin and blood sugar problems from the literature.
      Newcomers to this diet concept often forget that it’s about biochemical individuality. Your genes still play a role as well as blood type.
      It is understandable you would feel better eating more meat than plants if you have some sort of carbohydrate metabolism problem in your case. But doesn’t discount improvements many others have made that do not possess this genetic problem.
      Beef is still reacting to your blood even if you are type A and regardless of secretor status, but the symptoms may not always show till years later when your body starts struggling to cope with the buildup of toxins which is different for everybody. I may be a fast reactor, you slow.
      You may find your blood sugar even stabilises just by removing the avoids whilst still eating mostly plants. I have heard of a case happening following the type A diet and recovering from their diabetes diagnosis.

    Hello Dr Jeffrey. good talk on a diet. I have been on the diet since 2020, 24 years. I will be on this diet for the rest of my life. I am an a. Yes, you are so right. I know if I eat potatoes my gut isn't quiet. I know myself so well and so going against my diet is just not worth the 10 minutes I ate it and then suffer the rest of the day and also gain weight. When my husband thought he was an o would eat meat and potatoes, he would soon need an Alka-Seltzer, and many times go throw up the food because the acid reflux so strong the valve wouldn't open up to allow the foods to go down. We'll when he had knee surgery at the age of 68, I asked for his blood type reading . I was floored, he was an a. He complied with the diet a, eating like an a from that day forward. He never had and Alka seltzer or threw up ever again plus lost over 20 pounds losing his large stomach. I am always sharing the truth of the diet but so many poop the diet. Thank you for your heart. i am Caucasian ,69 so thank full to my Lord I gave the diet a go sincerly , jeanelle norris

    A+ Caucasian here. I've always felt better on mostly veggies and fruits. I remember as a child, whenever I was sick, they'd bring me soup in bed...Beef and Barley. I HATED it...I would spit out the beef into a napkin and try to hide it. Then as an adult, I would always marinate steak with something like teriyaki, in order to disguise the taste. It always tasted 'off'. Even venison tastes off. One weekend, before a long road trip, I had two events to go to. I was eating gluten free at the time: I ate prime rib and salad on Saturday and steak tips and salad on Sunday. By Thursday, I was in SO MUCH PAIN and my stomach was so bloated, looked like I was 5-6 months pregnant. Took a few more days to pass that through my system and start to feel better. Obviously, my body has been telling me all along NOT to eat it!!🤦‍♀

The shortened version was said to be carved into a Greek temple. This is good advice, yet I resonate even more with Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Im going to give the concepts in your video a gradual adaptation and watch for good outcomes. I appreciate the time you took to give this detailed information about Blood Group A. I will be applying this. I always realized that from I was a child after eating potatoes and yam, it would feel like it's in my throat, and it wouldn't digest as fast as the other foods eaten. Now I know the reason. Now, as an adult, the changes will be made. Thanks again.

    I just found out about this diet two days ago. Today is my first day and I ate a late breakfast of steel-cut oatmeal with a tiny bit of milk, and a soup I devised to replace the chili I was planning on making--ground chicken, onion, celery, carrots, pinto and black beans, chicken broth and cumin. Similar to chili except no tomatoes, peppers or kidney beans and with the addition of celery and carrots.
    I just sat down to watch this and rest a bit before I go out for a walk--and noticed that I don’t feel AT ALL uncomfortable like I usually do after I eat supper. Hopefully I keep on feeling great as the days go on with this lifestyle.
    I'm also a true "cultivator." I love gardening. You name it, I'll grow it. 😊

    Back in March I started having issues with feeling nauseous after eating certain foods. I ended up in the hospital at the beginning of April with extreme pain in my chest, back, and on the right side of my ribs near my diaphragm. The only thing that stopped the pain was 🤮 three times with a couple hours of each other! This continued for a good two months. I started to notice that it happen after certain foods like processed cheese, some meats, super spicy food,or especially greasy foods. My doctor said it could be gallbladder issues, an ulcer, stress, but I would need an endoscopy to find out! I was NOT happy about that. She prescribed me like 5 medications that I never picked up. I didn’t want to fill my body with that crap. I was in pain and my appointment was weeks away. So, for the week leading up to my appointment I put myself on a fruits and veggies diet. I had lots of salads, some with chicken, some just veggies. Cherries, blackberries, grapes, watermelon, avocado, mango. When I wanted something heavier I’d eat beef hot dogs 😅. Basically, after that week I had ZERO PAIN, no nausea, could even eat some of my favorite snacks again without any issues. Now that I’ve found out that I should eat according to my blood type it all makes sense! I’m kinda sad that some seafood I enjoy doesn’t fit well, and olives!!! 😩 but I do feel so much better now so thank you for sharing! 🎀

    Since I've lost 100 pounds as my diet has moved toward the Ketogenic principles over the last three years - refinement of a 33-year effort to eliminate foods that trigger ADHD symptoms (sugar and food additives, preservatives) I find the list of allowed and disallowed foods to be a disturbing mix of foods that don't work for me. I'm no longer pre-diabetic, my ibuprofen-fueled kidney disease is improved, and my geriatric docs act somewhat shocked. The Type O recommendations appear to be closer to what works for me - along with sticking to low-glycemic berries for fructose intake - 10X more dangerous than sugar, but very difficult to measure. Thank you for the excellent summary - clear, reliable information is really helpful!

      Hello, that depends on the person. Are u getting proper rest? Are u sticking to your blood type diet? Are you exercising with weights which is resistance training and getting your body into Zone 2 cardio for 150 to 180 mins per week? What is your mindfulness behavior practice like? Change can and will come because it is a constant but what type of change you will see depends on these factors. What gets measured can be modified in your desired direction. So patience and consistency is your best direction my friend. I truly hope this helps. Thank you for sharing your question.
