Danessa makes products that stand on their own. Whether she knows the woman or not, you can’t really hate on that brand, and there are very few brands like that. She makes products that are quality and it’s that way across the board whereas most other brands have a ton of hit or miss products and are just more concerned with getting new products out than having them be of high standard, like D Myricks.
I love how real these videos are. You put mascara on your brow, asked yourself why you did it, and the proceeded to do the same thing to the other brow. Imperfect perfection!

I never wore blush until about 3 years ago because I have very pink cheeks and I’m quite fair. I figured that because of my complexion, blush just wasn’t an option for me. But, I love it so much!! Could you possibly go over the technique you demonstrated using your own “blush” or how people with redness or discoloration can still enjoy using blush like everyone else!? At one point you were looking for your pencil sharpener and it had me thinking how do you keep your pencils looking nice I feel like the first time I sharpen one it gets all jagged or the product gaps away from the pencil part.
One of my favorite things about this platform is all the nuanced moments. Smelling your laundry detergent on the towel, calling yourself a funny name and then pulling out your American accent, quick tips and your thought process as you create. You have changed the order I do my makeup- I do blush before eyes and I really find that sets the tone for the look. Also- you’re thinking of John Lithgow. Don't you just love products that last forever? I received a Sephora sample tube of MILK cosmetics Lip + Cheek, over five years ago, that will not die. Also, I would absolutely LOVE it if you could do a video on undereye concealers that don't crease/cake ...or how to prevent undereye concealers from creasing throughout the day. I've started developing fine lines and the struggle is real! 😆🖤
Danessa Myricks Yummy Blushes really are beautiful and a little goes a very long way like she showed, so it’s well worth the price- if you like that natural sheen doesn’t dry down formula. Tower 28 another fantastic brand. Those bronzers are gorgeous and the shades and formulas are beautiful. I go through my Tower 28 pretty quickly because there isn’t much in the pan and it’s so creamy and buildable that it goes for me pretty fast. Not faster than most other very natural, emollient cream products with that amount of product though. I love how simplistic she keeps her skincare and makeup routine. She is absolutely stunning.❤

The mascara looks so good on you! 😍 Maybe its because you have good lashes in the first place 😅❤️ I've recently been looking for some youtubers closer to my own age (i turn 30 this month 😇) normally i've been wastcing youtubers in their early twenties, but some of their tecniques just doesn't match me anymore, because of the agegap. My skin get looser and you get fine lines, bla, bla, bla.. and as i've got older i never go for a full beat makeup anymore. I don't even use any makeup on a daily basis, other than a little bit of blush and curl my lashes. So im glad i found your channel, it seems to suit my own makeup preferences 👏❤️

Its also the perfect base the start your day & when evening hits & wanne go out : bit of touch up & a red lip (or anything els that is more bold) Or adding a bit of a smokey liner & ready for going into the night ✌🏻🌺

Hi Katie, I have the hardest time with my makeup! Color never seems to show up. In photos of me looking down my eyeballs seem to protrude and i have a lot of upper eyelid space and when my eyes are open they’re hooded. I could really use some pointers 🫶🏼 Thank you in advance 💓

Angie Drooger Hello, I'm absolutely no expert on anything makeup but I saw your question and I just have to share my experience. I have never, never gotten good results from a traditional lash curler. I have plenty of length to my lashes but sadly they either point straight out with a few of them oddly turning downwards. I tried everything. Then I discovered 💥the heated eyelash curler💥!!! Changed my life! I have three different types of heated eyelash curlers now. I use the different types depending on the end result I'm going for. The key to them is to apply a light coat of mascara and then use the heated eyelash curler/wand. Be patient when curling. It may take a few times of using because until you realize that you aren't going to burn your eyelids off (or anything else for that matter) it truly gives the best results I've ever seen. If you want a slight flip-up, then that's all you do. If you want a drastic curl through the full length of your lashes simply start at the root and hold for a few seconds and then slide up a little more and hold for a few seconds and repeat! Honestly, I have had my natural lashes end up catching on one of my few eyebrow hairs (over-plucker from the 90's). But even in that scenario, I ran the wand over the topside to calm them down. The heated eyelash curlers give such an even swoop to the lashes with no crimped squares or 90° turns in the lash its just no comparison to me. Also, I have not experienced any loss of lashes as a result. Hope I was helpful! 🫠

Also besides the heated eyelash curler I just use Maybelline Sky High washable formula and the results couldn't be better!!!
