Make sure you clean the Cuisinart grinder every 3 or 4 months! Twist the hopper anticlockwise until it pops off, then get in there with a dental pick/brush/vacuum. Mine whimpered and died...but after cleaning it came back.
I find that the Medium grind puts out too many fines inside the chamber for my liking. I just try to pull out the coarser grinds and discard the powder fines not sutable for pour-over coffee.
I cant wait to use it, I ordered it and it should be here tomorrow. I can't find anything on if I can use this with my Moka Pot. I use Bustelo which is super fine but that's already grounded coffee.
Just wanted to say thank you for the video. It saved me from wasting money. I've got/had a similar machine that would consistently leave coffee grinds within the machine during normal use. Side note - Anyone know of a grinder that dumps it's grinds from the top instead of the side like this machine?
That espresso grind definitely looks a little too coarse, which would probably be far too under extracted for good espresso. Thanks for the good test shots of the grind, I was wondering about this machine for espresso! I wonder how it would perform with the popular burr spacing modification people make to this machine to decrease the grind size
There are a couple of vids on RUclips that show how to shim the bottom rather easily for a finer grind. Some are also better than others out of the box. Mine does a really fine grind without the mod.
It works perfectly for espresso. It is absolutely perfect! This is a great machine!❤️🙏
I am looking for a grinder for cold brew and the corse setting looks perfect. Thanks for the review!

I’m afraid that this does not grind anywhere near fine enough for an espresso
How do you wash it? That’s the most important thing

Breville
Is this good for mokapot?

I have one. I don't recommend it for espresso.

I bought one tonight at Walmart. I’m taking it back. The finest grind setting is at least 3 to 4 clicks away from an actual espresso grind.
What's does the specifications say for required Watts?
SO, can anybody tell me what setting would you put it on if you had a medium roast blend but want it strong?
So, medium grind for a regular drip coffee pot?
yes :))
How many oz per cup? What is a cup? 5 oz 6 oz 8 oz of water?
In the coffee maker world a "cup" is 5 oz
I have the same machine, it works good but makes a bit of a mess .
Don't store your beans in the hopper
Why not?
@nuramisbah3790 he's still thinking of a reason.
No that is not acceptable for expresso not even close..
