    Those new Valente tail lights look sick! Ive bought almost every single part for my build from you guys! I thought I had finished when I had achieved my goal of 400+Hp but now after looking at your website, I can get some more people with a few new parts. Thanks for the great customer service!

    You guys uploaded this a couple weeks after I installed mine. Had to figure out how to do it on my own, with some help from a friend.

    I know this is almost exactly TWO years after you guys posted this video, but hopefully someone has some intel on this. Installed the Valenti smoked 4th brake light. Everything went smooth, and the light performs as advertised. Today I'm leaning down by the trunk to install an emblem overlay, and I notice a very light hum/buzz coming from what sounds like the 4th brake light. Anyone else ever hear of this, or deal with this? Thoughts?

    Is it legal to delete the stock reflector, I wanna just get rid of it and fill in the hole with more plastic and make the plastic bit by the exhaust real clean

    i did mine worked perfectly do exactly what he says but dont use the extra wite instead take outh the blue one from the middle because stock has only 2 pins this one has 3 and you connect the middle blue one to the tailights green

    After installing and running the wires like the video instructed.. everything went smooth. I got mine from 86 website, so colors are different. Didn't have to detach the blue from the stock connection under the plastic piece.. just snipped it and wrapped it with electrical tape..then pulled through the slit he showed near the rubber nipple. Blue doesn't even connect to anything so no threat to snip and leave. For the wiring part, I actually had to open up the coatings on the Valenti harness, expose the wires and wrap the red to red and blue to blue around each other... then solder and tape it back up. But when I turned everything on.. the freaking lights were flip flopped.. So my running V light was the break light, and the triangle break light was my running light.. so instead of taking it apart, I went back under the car where the wires plug into the Velinti directly, and switched the wires, blue to red and red to blue... worked like a charm. Green is back up light, blue is BREAK, and red is RUNNING light. Everyone out there, either my car was wired wrong to begin with, or every one of these videos I've seen is inaccurate lol. DONT USE THE TAPS... they cut your wire and don't make a solid connection. Especially if you wire right into your stock harness, they almost cut clean through it, totally optional to solder, still makes a solid connection without doing that when exposing and wrapping around. I ended up stripping the wires into my Valenti break lights and wrapping around those... and it works like a charm. (most people say to stock harness)... but those wires are way too small, and it all connects to the same place. Let me know if you have any questions if anyone ever reads this... took me about 8 hours to figure all of this out on my own. lol #noob

      Thanks for all the info. I should be receiving my light soon so this will be helpful. I've heard that there are a lot of inconsistencies about the color of wires they use at the factory, so that's probably the issue. I'll use the wires you recommend and see how it goes.

      It’s for the JDM, the US version you’ll need to splice into the other blue wire. Article here: blog.fteightysix.com/valenti-style-reverse-bar-installation/

    I just installed mine today and got everything to work great. The only thing I can't figure out is how the heck do you put the Plastic Rivets back on? I might be asking a very dumb question but I just can not figure out how to push those black small plastic rivets back on? Please help if you can? I really appreciate it and I am really sorry for asking the most dumbest question. Maybe I am dong something wrong?

    • @adamchristophergrigg
      @adamchristophergrigg 4 года назад

      Are you talking about the pop clips on the sides of the light? They should just go back in as long as they are liked up. Just make sure the center locking piece is not pushed in flush before you reinstall them.

    UHHHHHH FOCUS CAMERA

  • @josephsabatino7857
    @josephsabatino7857 2 года назад +5

    If you are in the US, IGNORE THIS VIDEO. You WILL waste your time. The 4th brake light comes with 2 wire harnesses: 1 plug made up of a blue and black and the other with 3 plugs, a brown/black, blue/black, and green/black. This video will have you wasting your time splicing the blue from the single shorter harness into the green power wire of the car. THIS IS INCORRECT AS THIS ENTIRE EXTRA WIRE DOES NOT GET USED. Throw the short blue/black wire aside as it will NOT be used. You have to CUT the blue wire from the reverse light harness and tap that into the green power wire.
