Nice job man! I ended up entering in Beginner class since it was my very first race. I did well enough that next year I will sign up for Sport if they do a similar race. Great to see footage from the entire race, I didn't see many out there with action cameras.
When riding a majority of mildly inclined trails. You will want to adjust your camera angle. we're spending most of the video watching the ground in front of you. Not an attack just want to make your vids better.
Oh I totally agree. I have a new camera and new mounting style that I’ll be trying soon. It’s a pretty tried and true setup so I’m pretty sure it will look good.
Nice video of the trails. Nice explanation of the racing set up. Thank you
Thanks. Hoping to get some updated footage next year.
Looks like so much fun.
Definitely some of the best flow trails in the area.

Thanks. Congrats to you too! Hope to see you out there next year.
Great job in the race, congrats!
Thanks!
Congrats! Where is this trail system? Richmond virginia? Would like to go ride here one day. Thx
Thanks! It’s at Pocahontas State Park. These are the “swift creek trails” specifically. Check them out they are flowy goodness!
👍82 is year you were born
Yeah funny coincidence. Made it easy to remember and tell the time keepers.
I plan on purchasing vitus nucleus 275 vr can you recommend it for begginer all around riding?
Yes definitely
What kind of bike were you running?
My custom built Vitus Nucleus. It’s kind of a Franken-bike but I like it.
