    I’m Cambodian and my mom never really taught me how to cook authentic Khmer recipes. New subbie! Would love to see more Khmer dishes.

    Thanks for sharing the recipe. As the son of a Cambodian immigrant I never met my grandparents, or really an opportunity to have recipes passed down to me to learn. My father isn't the best cook either. I grew up eating what he called Bor Baw, it was similar to this, but I think it had lime a lot of lime juice and lemongrass in it and was more like soup than porridge. I think he might have been cooking two different recipes together from memory. I'm going to give this one a try this week. Thanks again for sharing.

    Baw Baw Cheam Chruk is one of my favorite versions (pork). I just never know what organs to buy at the asian market, so I decide to skip making it :) The blood pudding is easy to find, but I get stuck after that. I should try this chicken version (mouan), thanks for sharing!

    • @EatLifewithMaryJayne
      @EatLifewithMaryJayne  3 года назад +1

      I love the pork version. The organs used usually is liver, small intestines, and kidney. The chicken version is easier to make. Happy cooking!
