Thank you Dark Souls compilation 1

- All clips for my compilations are made by me. I carefully compiled clips that I recorded while playing Dark Souls and selected finest moments naming the most interesting event that happens in each video. That is called “Thank you dark souls” meme which is a compilation of funny moments, bugs and glitches met in Dark Souls games series. It is supposed to be gameplay with no music or commentary so videos will be the most loved and viewed by audience. Dark Souls fans find such videos very entertaining and every “Thank you Dark Souls” moment is a unique and funny experience.
I love the DS3 scream so much. It's like the character is being dragged to hell and knows fully well the extent of the torment they will be subjected to.
LMAO
The torment of respawning a few seconds later
@@thebatman1482 and dying a horrible death 50 more times
Meanwhile, the DS1 scream is like, "Uuuunnnghhh ☺️ "
and the DS2 scream (0:33) sounds like the protag is just really really annoyed, like "UUURRRGHHH"
First clip was literally Elden ring vs Dark souls fall damage.

Ohh that's explain everything im thinking wtf was happening on this one😂
That 50 soul ring revival ... real pain
Maybe he had souls waiting for him where he previously die, the ring saves those too.
@@thelewis2898 are you sure it saves those? If it does then i might consider start using it more often

That last clip made me inhale my cookie. That was so cool.
Made me laugh. Shit got me too lol
Who can explain what even happened. That was cool as fuck
How he did that?
@@lourencozancandarocha2635 its a speedrun strat that requires RNG. Run through the dragons legs and position yourself like in the clip. If the dragon does the right move you can do a jumping attack which triggers the plunging attack animation and kills him.
You only have one shot to land it since after the first attack he moves forward and his face is out of reach. After that its a reset.
@@EraVulgarity it’s a gimmick boss fight where you have to climb up to the top of the castle and do a plunging attack (attack while falling) on its head to beat the dragon. Basically someone must have found that you can jump off that tiny ledge and trigger the plunging attack to beat the boss without having to do the whole climb
2:00 it sounds like the SFX is carried from one video to the other one lmao

What a great transition, haha.
The first one got me laughing so hard I also died
0:31 those stairs have probably killed more people than Pinwheel
Since the video shows one person dying to the stairs, this assumption must be correct.
@@umbranoctis4348 Man, didn't have to do him like that. He's just unlucky because of game design.
I once lost 8000 souls because of that. I was only like level 3
@@Hugo_Balls08 daaaaayum
Those were probably the 3000 from Asylum demon + Taurus + some random mobs
Talk about starting off on the wrong foot
I can't tell if the pinwheel thing Is satire since that guy nearly spread my cheeks when I first fought him.
1:01-1:22
That prompt-swapped duped Longsword sure is weighty, hehe.
4:15 shadow of colossus part 2
1:02 is what happens when you dupe items in ds1, at least on pc. By clicking on the tab arrow in the shop at the same time as clicking buy on the arrows (one using mouse one using controller) you can force the game to let you buy "multiple" longsword at a time, but really it's just one but with all the weight of as many longswords as you could buy arrows (theoretically 999)
It's also possible on console, too, just trickier to pull off.
What happen there? I'm still don't understand
@@hyper0505 I'm probably not the best person to explain it, but I believe it is a glitch known among the community as quantity storage. There is a certain way you can open and interact with menus to get the game to hold the quantity of a stackable item (for example, 999 arrows) in its memory.
Essentially, by hovering over the purchase prompt for 999 arrows, and doing some tricky menuing, you are able to buy 999 longswords all at once. However, the game doesn't allow you to stack certain items (such as longswords) so instead you get just one longsword, but has the weight of 999 longswords.
The character has a limit to the amount they can carry before movement is hindered, most commonly seen in game through the various rolling animations. 999 longswords puts you well past the limit to even jog or walk normally, let alone roll!
So what we're seeing in that clip is someone has performed the quantity storage glitch and bought an ultra heavy longsword and can no longer move normally. I hope this helps!
Furthermore, the reason you would want to buy a mega heavy longsword is that this is what causes the game to hold qty 999 in its memory, which then allows you to duplicate other stackable items (again with some fancy menu tricks.) So for example, you could "drop" 999 twinkling titanite even though you only actually had 1, because the game is thinking about 999. There are a lot of good tutorials on how to do it if you want to try it for yourself!
The guy in the video by buying the long sword that he uses while using a duplication bug he created a long sword with the weight of 999 long swords that is why even though it is the only thing he has on the game considers that his weight is in the thousands thus unable to move @@hyper0505
It's cheating and you all should be ashamed :P
No playthrough is complete without a "thank you dark souls" moment
My heart can't take all this kindness anymore
I felt that first clip in my bones lmao
The first clip always reminds me of being at the Crucifixion Woods bonfire with my friend, and her finding this little spot where she can stand on the little cliffedge next to a tree. I dropped down on top of her and because my guy had no where to fall from all of the hitboxes around me, I was in a constantly falling state without doing a falling animation. My friend moved so that I could land and I died instantly.
Lmao I’m so happy the mushroom wasn’t taking any shit, that was awesome
Dude had enough
The first one is a good showing of the difference in pain from landing on you feet to landing on your feet with stiff legs. 100% accurate to real life
"Dark souls is hard but it is fair, if you die you know it was your fault"
mobs hitting you through walls is unacceptable
Pretty common problem in souls games fromsoft has no idea how to program
@@MultiSneakerLover I’m pretty sure they already know how to solve the issue, they just don’t. Imo I’d prefer they don’t fix it
@@goomba07 Nope. They're likely clueless. Their programming / mechanics / physics has alway been pure jank.
Just hit them back lmao
@@toprak3479 They do have the solution though, you're the clueless one.
Player wapons typically bounce off walls, which can prevent hitting through them.
It's just that they won't bother doing it for every weapon, and for mobs.
2:37 the Asylum Demon was like "What the heck? Oh well"
Not the asylum demon
At 0:30 that same thing happened to me. I had to laugh at that, though. Made me think someone put a speed boost panel from Mario Kart on that ledge.
0:13 AHHHHHHHHH!
1:08 the souls are too heavy?
He used a dupe glitch making the sword he equipped into 100 longswords gaining no benefits and only the equipment weight
2:30 bro wasted the ring for 50 souls 💀
Honestly never even noticed that your character screams in dark souls because i was too busy hearing that little click it makes when you take a fatal hit. Iconic
that last one was very impresive i may have to try that on my next ds3 run
I miss blight town, becoming a God level pryomancer with double poison mist, toxic mist and 8 fire orbs
The first video reminds me the time as kid that a fall similar to one stair was equivalent to a death
That first one had me "falling down" laughing
3:31 that passage was actually one of the funniest things i have ever seen.
This video should be titled “what happens when you try to run past every enemy”
players really do that in "speedrun" videos.
Useful in Ds1, ass tactic in Ds2

As he said in honest trailers, bugs are features that make it more extreme
3:49 Bro those mushrooms are fucking LETHAL…and for no reason at all, they’re literal mushrooms and yet they do the most amount of damage out of anything in the game. So if they manage to hit you, then not only are you going to absolutely die in one hit, but you should also be embarrassed, it’s crazy
That first one is brilliant. "How the f**k did I survive that?.... .. .... think I'll head up h-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
There are 2 ways to die in dark souls.
You either die fighting for your life or epically dueling a boss.
Or the game just decides you don’t deserve to live
This truly is the dark souls of dark souls videos
bro this is so funny part 2 plsss
Losting those two million souls must've been rough. I couldn't even imagine
I just got back into DS remastered and I don’t regret one bit of it
After playing dark souls 2 straight that elden ring fall damage is unbelievable lol
I once clipped through an elevator floor in irithyll dungeon in ds3. To this day, I can't really think of a more "thank you dark souls" moment than that. Although a few days ago I died to inner isshin in the mortal journey gauntlet
Think ive clipped through the floor once in ds3, got cocky because i was overleveled and let the greatwood sit on me. It won that round
That first one had me in stitches.
The first clip is perfect 🤣 this has been happening since Demons Souls
So glad I found this
This is kind of therapeutic.
this is pretty mad!
Hella nice yo!
Holy shit. That was the most legendary descent down the great hollow I have ever seen. That it was cut short by the ridiculous hit box of those god forsaken mushrooms only makes it all the more delicious.
Well done, Chosen Undead.
Well done, Dark Souls.
The mushroom moves when it punches, it clearly made contact.
@fubarecognition He went way around it, literally like a 3 or 4 foot berth from that thing and it still was able to hit him😂
Only in a Souls game would a mob be able to still hit you from that far away.
Bruh the first clip AND the one with the mushroom fucking killed me XD
Amongth all dark souls series. Dark Souls 3 gave me a lot of chills and fun i will never ever forget those moments❤
Yep, I'm having fun playing this.
4:41 useful information. Never going to get hit by annoying enemies inside a boss battle ever again.
Ahh, "A Connection Error Occurred. Returning to your World," like a burning brain enema. Lovely.
The last one was just normal. I thought he was gonna glitch out and fly out the map or something lol
Dark Souls, the only game where you can survive a 100+ meter drop for a boss fight but can't survive a 1 foot drop into an inbounds area.
I am definitely trying that last one later.
Sucha amount of souls
"Dark Souls isn't a hard or unfair game, just challenging"
After playing all of these recent, Souls likes, I can’t help but notice that I think what really sets from software games apart is the sound design.
When this happens to you near a bonfire is funny as shit, but when this happens to you on the way to recover your souls...
Lmao hollows roll catching like they got 5k hours in pvp

"WTF even are hitboxes, anyway?" -- From
The first one had me dying LMFAO
But it's funny. The combat is mostly more well designed and reasonable than most games but it also has some of the most ridiculous BS outside of combat. Like enemies killing you straight through a ten foot thick brick wall lol
you know you've been playing these games too long when you can tell *exactly* what's about to happen in each of these clips.
this just proves that ds is amazingly replayable, this many utterly rediculous bugs were found
