1:02 is what happens when you dupe items in ds1, at least on pc. By clicking on the tab arrow in the shop at the same time as clicking buy on the arrows (one using mouse one using controller) you can force the game to let you buy "multiple" longsword at a time, but really it's just one but with all the weight of as many longswords as you could buy arrows (theoretically 999)
@@hyper0505 I'm probably not the best person to explain it, but I believe it is a glitch known among the community as quantity storage. There is a certain way you can open and interact with menus to get the game to hold the quantity of a stackable item (for example, 999 arrows) in its memory. Essentially, by hovering over the purchase prompt for 999 arrows, and doing some tricky menuing, you are able to buy 999 longswords all at once. However, the game doesn't allow you to stack certain items (such as longswords) so instead you get just one longsword, but has the weight of 999 longswords. The character has a limit to the amount they can carry before movement is hindered, most commonly seen in game through the various rolling animations. 999 longswords puts you well past the limit to even jog or walk normally, let alone roll! So what we're seeing in that clip is someone has performed the quantity storage glitch and bought an ultra heavy longsword and can no longer move normally. I hope this helps! Furthermore, the reason you would want to buy a mega heavy longsword is that this is what causes the game to hold qty 999 in its memory, which then allows you to duplicate other stackable items (again with some fancy menu tricks.) So for example, you could "drop" 999 twinkling titanite even though you only actually had 1, because the game is thinking about 999. There are a lot of good tutorials on how to do it if you want to try it for yourself!
The guy in the video by buying the long sword that he uses while using a duplication bug he created a long sword with the weight of 999 long swords that is why even though it is the only thing he has on the game considers that his weight is in the thousands thus unable to move @@hyper0505
