  • Today we are saying good bye to our 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys.
We bought the Gladiator right off the delivery truck May 2021 and have adventured in the midsize truck all over the US. Would we buy it again? We picked the Gladiator Willys package as it adds a few key features from the Rubicon Wrangler. You will get factory rock rails, Rubicon shocks and the blacked out Rubicon wheels
Join Dave as we break down ownership and offer our final thoughts on the Jeep Gladiator.

I've owned 3 of these platforms JLUR, JT rubicon and JT mojave all have the leather seats and have driven them multiple times on 750 mile trips one way and the seats are great and comfortable.

I will NEVER own another Ford, so the Bronco is a no-go for me. I'm wanting to get my son a Gladiator as a first vehicle when he gets his license at 16 in a few months. I just hope they're still available.

I have the exact same gladiator, same year etc. I have loved it so far and its interesting when others come in the car and find the suspension feeling strange. Also I had steps put on for my father to get in easier. Offroad its been amazing, gone through some serious water and never worried. GREAT Channel! look forward seeing what's replacing it!

I have a 21 Rubicon Gladiator and yes the seats for long trips wear my back out. I also have the cloth seats. I've considered getting the seat jackers to see if lifting the front up will help with leg fatigue and whatnot but we'll see.

I got the whole seat lowering kit from Desert Does It and installed it on my Wrangler. As a 6'3 guy who is mostly torso it made a huge difference. I didn't feel like my head was rubbing the roof and I could see the whole instrument cluster without lowering my head. Unfortunately, I had an accident a couple weeks ago during a storm and totaled my Wrangler. I picked up a Gladiator Mojave last Saturday and I'm loving it other than the seat height but I'm about to clock out from work and I'm going straight home to install another seat lowering kit. Total time for the install is right around an hour so it's not hard at all. The seat jackers will probably take half as long. You won't regret it. Best of luck and keep on truckin'.

I have a 23 Gladiator, Willy. I've had a 2010 Wrangler for 14 years, so I knew what to expect.

Good video. I own a 2021 Willys Gladiator and can't disagree with most of your comments. I have a similar lift as yours, and added 33" BFG AT tires. Towed a 3500 lb trailer on a trip I just finished from Fort Worth to Colorado - two days in each direction The length of the JT made the trip possible, and I attribute the road fatigue as much to my 63 year old bones as I do to the seats.... but hay, that's why i took two days each way on the trip. I have added some suspension to improve the already impressive towing capability. Overall very pleased with my Gladiator, and you already pointed out the "niche" for this vehicle; most of the capability of a Wrangler off road, and most of the capability of a half ton truck ON the road.

Just got my Rubicon and have loved it so far. I get way more compliments on this truck than i have on any of my other trucks which I love haha. Also, you just have to know what youre going into when you buy a jeep and youll love it. If youre expecting a regular truck feel then this isnt your truck. If you want to take the doors and top off and go offroading while still being able to carry a payload this is your truck.
Looking forward to years ahead and adventures with this thing.

Put 50,000 miles on my manual rubicon in one year and it was flawless! Looking at a new Willy right now with the automatic! Rubicon was way more than I needed I don’t hardcore off road anymore so this trim is all I need at this stage of life and I’m looking to save some cash!!!

@@paulelliott682 No but I sold vintage guitars. The Jeep has been sold for over a week.. I’m pretty sure Carvana doesn’t watch the channel :-)
But that said because we review a truck and find flaws doesn’t mean the next person finds out flaws valid :-)
When we buy a truck for a long term review there is a food and bad to each one.

@@AllTerrainNation So is it true that Gibson registers their guitars so that you can check to see if the guitar has any provenance ? i.e. Peter Frampton's jungle crash black beauty, Ace Frehley etc.

@@paulelliott682 Depending you can track serial numbers.. I have a 1960s Gibson EBO bass that has been to Gibsons plant here in Nashville. They have some data but it’s very hard to come by.
