As Jeff has said this is a collaboration with Mikey-san of Incubus which is where the intro riff is all his and Kanami and Mikey wrote the song. Also did you notice it is all in English. Kanami does her Bandmaid inspired solo as she had to have her stamp on it. Must admit I didn't like this at first but it really grew on me. Especially Akane's drum parts, as you should have noticed by now she doesn't play the same rhythm in any verses.

Band Maid has a way of writing songs to their fans, especially their ballads. The first time I saw their video Thrill I was blown away, and new there was something special about them. Band Maid isn’t a rock band that dabbles in other genres. They are a group of creative musicians who express themselves through whatever styles they want to do. It’s a truly rare quality only a handful of bands have had. I’m as big of a Maidiac wacko as it gets, but this one is a miss for me 🤷🏻 Compared to the alt rock, uptempo ballad “Daydreaming?” With that Santana-esque, searing solo? Or my personal diamond 💎 “About Us.” Slow jam ballad written from a sincere place. Dedicated specifically to their fans. Emotional rollercoaster and one of the finest R&B/Jazz/Pop ballads I’ve ever heard
It took me a few listens to really appreciate, & get into this song. But after that, I was in love with it. And still am of course. A well crafted piece of music.
Best to leave expectations behind. Avoids brain-knots and confusion. Accept and enjoy. That’s my strategy. If I don’t get it the first time through, several more listens will always bring clarity. This one took about five times through to realize how thoroughly Band-Maid has assimilated the Incubus rift and rhythm. Now I think of it as Daydreaming’s younger happier sister and it’s taken its place on the revolving list that’s my favorite Band-Maid song.
you should do a double header check out the Studio version of Catharsis (カタルシス) then do the live acoustic version of Catharsis Or do the same thing with the song Sayonakidori
Even ten years later they are still finding new sub genres of rock and conquering them on their first try. No other Band-Maid song sounds quite like this.

The main thing here is he's listening to Band-Maid and enjoying the music. And he has dedicated 30 days in a row for Band-Maid, which only a handful of reactors have done something of the kind. We should be celebrating reactors like React Attack!. If he stops to express his feeling, even as "...just a shout...", it's OK. I'm sure you're a Maidiac and have heard this song multiple times, so I'm assuming you are watching reactors to see how others react to Band-Maid songs for the first time. At least I do.
