Yeah that's rare you achieved the planchet before the handstand. I'm a g with handstand push up and can do a.lever but i can't hold it very long . But I can't do a planchet. I'm almost there though. I'll probly achieve the planchet in lime a month
I remember how I learnt the handstand… . I wanted to do a handstand on a skateboard - there was only one minor issue with this plan: I couldn’t do a handstand on the ground 😂😂. So I basically just started trying. Every day. For about a year. And then it worked. I must have done something like 2000 attempts before it worked, and during that time I discovered everything Andry talks about the hard way. Wish I had had his video. Maybe it had taken me only 1000 attempts 😂
Best breakdown I have seen on RUclips how to do handstands I’m 56 years old. I am never been able to do a handstand, but always dreamt of doing one. I am excited because of the steps that you give in the instructions in the video. It’s almost like a work out cannot wait to start. And hopefully I could tell you about my success. Once I’m able to accomplish it.
Thanks man, I could already do the wall hand stand but couldn't balance independently, but I just did 4 seconds independ handstand with your tutorial instantly. And I can do about 20 push ups👊
ANDRY, I JUST KNOW THAT U POSTED THIS VIDEO, THIS IS THE BEST HANDSTAND TUTORIAL I'VE EVER SEEN, THANK YOU SO MUCH. This video will really2 help my handstand. Thanks a lot man, you deserve more views and subsriber man.
You are awesome, master. Please continue to share more tips on this pose... I stop it for many years just because of fear of falling down... Looking at your video tips, I fell the energy slowly regained ...
You’re a funny man. I loved your tutorial very informative. And I learnt a lot from it. Thank you very much and please don’t stop keep up the good work I’ll be following you
Literally after i watched this video i could kick up better, i understood all muscles that should working, and i balanced hs to wall for three seconds. Thanks bro
I feel like this video was uploaded for me. I started practising handstand like 1 month ago. I have a good strength but was so bad at balance. This videwo motivates me not giving up.
Man,you are a god of calisthenics and I'm so happy that you do tutorials about skills, you just motivated me to learn them! Thanks, you are the best keep up the good work!
Amazing brother! Appreciate you sharing your insights to most of us trying to learn handstand. True bro, Handstand is my main weakness, I have no problems with strength, but more on balance. Will apply these tips Andry, thanks man! Greetings from Philippines!
Great video as always. Really liked the shoulder stretch/mobility at end. Definitely looking forward to trying hand stand in slow progression & stretching.
bro best tuto just the hand straight and push with trapeze made me do it and hold it for 30 seconds ive been trying to learn it for 2 months XD and i was not consitent at ALL
Bro I think you are the one who can help me, I have cubitus valgus elbows and not able to hold hand stand, after 8 months I gave up but before learning handstand I achieved straddle planche in 6 months and funny thing is I can do tuck planche to hand stand press but I cant hold it I just fall.
Good video! One of the most impressive related things I have seen many years ago as a teen was at the beginning of a boxing match, one of the boxers got in the ring, did a quick hand stand followed with 2-3 push-ups while in that position. Never ever gotten to that level but always remembered that scene.
Since I discovered you, I have realized how wrong other channels convey it. You explain the right and wrong of the technique in the simplest way that everyone can understand. There are no nonsense explanations, you explain directly with a focus on results. Thank you for the important information and explanation. It's really helpful. Best regards✌
2:00 the most most most important part I was trying handstand from long time but didn't focus on fingers The fingers play the most important role Plssss follow that
I'm not going to lie to you, their routines are very good, in addition to showing very good stretches for after doing the routine. For people who still don't get it, it's just a matter of practicing and gaining strength, as well as resistance.
You forgot a major fact. You MUST use your fingers to balance. While in handstand try to press and squezee the floor, imagine that you have a ball in your hands and you must squeze it. This is gonna make sure that your body will start to move back(Where the belly is) and by pulsing this movement you are able to balace. It worked so much for me.
Training for planche 2 months already here, was trying out the handstand last year. The big similarity is getting used to squeezing the glutes and also protracting your back. I still can't get used to the back, since I'm arching it for a lot of other gym exercises.
When I was a kid, I was handstanding, doing bridges, kicking backwards and forwards between the two......and now, thirty years later, here I am, learning to put my arms next to my ears. Bleh, ageing sucks 🙄😉
