Sounds like some kind of danger is approaching, like a mounted army appearing on the horizon, but it also fits to the incineration of the Peietorisi (i hope i spelled that correctly) when they're just beginning to crack. Definitely like something important is about to happen, though it's full impact might not be entirely apparent yet
The strings sound like the Mongolian {insert the name I don't remember, let's say two stringed cello}, and with the flute it sounds like a preparation/start of/for a battle/hunt
"Our caravan continues its long journey as we traverse through the arid highlands of the west. Despite our path being empty, we remain on the look out for bandits; especially when we have to go through the god forsaken Daelyses pass is when we have to be ready for anything. The local empire has been attempting to subjugate the local bandits and horse tribes, though they have remained largely unsuccessful with these very people being well experienced in warfare of the mountains unlike the empire of the flat lands. The wind howls as we enter a tight spot, the stream of air originating from somewhere beyond those mighty mountains to the north."
You're being hunted by a beast in an extensive open plane on an unusually cloudy day. There are no trees. No large rocks. No grass, even. It should be impossible for something dangerous to sneak up on you. Yet you feel it in your bones, in your blood even. Something is approaching.
It's still alive (though slumbering)! Long story short, I've had a bit of a stressful year finding and starting a new job, but I am slowly making my way back into a creative rythm and hope to create new things soon :)
This track evokes the feeling of discovering something grand and powerful.
Eagerly waiting for future works.
Sounds like discovering a new location.
