Wow, thanks Jeff for this great enthusiastic reaction. I saw Haken and Thank You Scientists in 2016 at the Brick and Mortar in San Francisco. This was their Affinitour and the music was so wonderful. It was a great night of Prog in a small venue, the best!
Actually bro, as soon as you mentioned ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’, they are known to break out into that very song during this song, live, and Ross Jennings (vocalist) puts on these super cool starry (I think) pink glasses with the lines/slats all the way through them! If I ever get to see them live, I really hope they pull that off, it’s like a cool party trick lmfao!!

I was lucky enough to be at the first "Prog Cruise" out of Miami in 2014 and went mostly to see/meet Roine Stolt and Co. One afternoon I was walking on the top deck and heard this crazy song "The Cockroach King." I stopped in my tracks and have loved Haken ever since.

Now that you mention it, the beginning does sound similar to 80's YES. Definitely Dream Theater in the song too. The end part reminded me of Metropolis Pt 1.
