The first set of plugs you have (IFR plugs) are the correct plug. The second set are prone to the tip breaking off in the DC5's due to excess vibration
Just found this video .. bought 8s for my frank swap. My compression is slightly lower. I was recommended the 8s nice video again. But yeah gotta drive the car for a bit if u run them, was told the same do not drive it cold. Was also told before parking the car give it a rev or two .. clean the tips

Hi.. I have K24a fully stock motor in an EK Civic.. I have Iridium BKR8EIX 2668.. can I use these plugs for the setup..?? Because some say that they are cold for this setup unless I’m running a turbo.. appreciate if you can help we with this one..
Now i am running still with a stock k24a3, i am looking for some nice vtec mods and was thinking about some agressiver camshafts, do i need to mod the ECU? Are they just a direct bolt on? Any experience to share? If the ECU needs remap or whatever are there any camshafts that are improving slightly performance without any remap or whatever?
Just get it reflashed first, it's pretty much all the engine needs for every day driving :) look at my video after the reflash.. a new exhaust manifold gives alot too, but it's very small gains when you chance the camgear and the cams in the K24A3 IF you haven't done anything else besides that.
Well I have the 2669 set but I have the Tsx complete motor and there is a set for the Tsx that's laser iridium plugs.but I'm swap back in the 2669 set nd see what's the big deal,I know for a fact the laser iridium have a better performance then the 2669 set in my k24a2,I think that's just for frank builds a2 head swaps on k24 that's aren't k24a2's set up's..when I gotten my motor from the LKQ they had the factory set of plugs in there n they where the laser iridium's
Dood my timing chain was INDEED STRETCHED ASF!! omg at last fixed it, timing a k series engine is peace of cake maximum 2 minutes job, saw people saying... good fucking luck if the engine is still on the car... like WTF!!! OMG
Sorry to tell u a K series motor uses coils and not spark plug wires your tuner is not much of a TUNER the best honda Tuner is Altech Performance and Iridium IX plugs are garbage what garbage advice u got sounds like someone that knows nothing if you run coils which all K series do stick to the stock laser iridiums the IX plugs are not meant for coils and neither are copper which some guy on here said to use another non sense thing...Altech Performance knows everything about Honda poor advice my friend forget about this guy u went to he's not the best

Yeah, I run 9’s(same ones as you) on my turbo K24hybrid setup. I also gapped em to .17 because I’m boosted lol

Heat range 9 ngk spark plug 2669 high performance I think is for all motor
Lol I was right, colder plugs. Would not have guessed two colder but with your compression and hp makes sense.

There is also always vtec killer, toss in some OEM vtec cams and mod some exhaust rockers o the intake and go to town(with a tune ofc)

laser iridiums is what you should use cause its a coil setup don't use IX plugs there garbage not meant for a coil setup
Use NGK lasers or denso oe laser plugs

The ngk's come pre gapped u can not gap iridium's plugs
