Figure Rise team is currently my favorite team from Bandai. They're always making something with molds from scratch, and they are always making something unique with lots of crazy features. They don't always make winners, but the sheer amount of challenge they face with every product is enough for me to admire the dedication and high-IQ levels of work they deal with on the regular.
Yu-Gi-Oh is one heck of a treasure chest to pick out products from. They'll kill our wallets so many times. Well, mine is already dead just from buying Gunplas.

Man I love that they’ve been doing amplified Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster kits. So many monsters I wish could get this treatment too like Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Dark Magician, Black Luster Soldier and, most importantly, Beaver Warrior

The hole in the shoulder may be for better arm articulation if you rotate the bicep swivel 180 degrees and stick it in that hole, I don’t have this kit however, so I don’t even know if this would fit

I’ve never seen/built a model kit. I’ve really never been INTO Yugioh. I only recently wanted an Exodia figure, and this kit is the best I could find as a possible figure And I expected hell. It actually seems relatively easy! I’m not getting stopped, now!
There is SO much potential with the FRSA YuGiOh line! With what they learned from Suletta & Miorine, they can do Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, they can do Red Eyes, the Egyptian Gods, you name it.
Is there any chance you're gonna get and review the KOSMOS led units for the Witch from Mercury kits. They have a FM Aerial one, which gives you light up shell units, and one for the HG Caliburn or HG Aerial Rebuild.
One thing I wished this figure had come with is alternate hands, for the main pose the hands we gave are amazing, however other poses I would have liked some other hands. It's a niche thing and definitely not needed, you can get both amazing show accurate poses, and just generic poses but idk I want more options.

Shoot we need so much monsters; Red eyes, Egyptian gods, Dark Magicians… are tip of the iceberg. And if they can get fusions/combiners like XYZ dragon cannon, magnet warriors, Gate Guardian 🤯
Would be cool yo see it come with the energy blast balls he holds before wiping out Kaiba though. Those would be the only accessories we'd need for it. That and i dont think there is any other accessory that would even make sense for it to have honestly.
This is totally a trip down memory lane for me, as a 90s kid. And this kit has me thinking, is Bandai going to make model kits of the Egyptian God Cards? That would be badass, still waiting for a Red Eyes Black Dragon kit though. One last thing, fuck Weevel for tossing Exodia over the side of the ship, still it took a while but Yugi gave Weevel what he deserved in Waking the Dragons.
This new YGO line scares me honestly. I got the BEWD, this one is on the way, and gods know what else they got coming down the pipeline. There’s so many amazing designs they could make and adapt, and I don’t have room for them all. The Egyptian Gods? Red Eyes? XYZ Dragon Cannon? Cyber End Dragon? Shooting Star Dragon? Endless possibilities and my wallet is terrified

also anyone noticed Bandai is making kits of the big 3 "monster collecting" franchises? which are Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, can't remember if they also made Youkai Watch kits.
I would've thought that they would've included the energy from its attack, either the ball and/or it being released... you know so you can recreate his win condition being met.

For once the gold in a bandai kit doesn't look like shit. I'm going to get this kit, but I'm happy I won't need to paint this kit to make it look decent.
