I have been waiting for this day for 19 almost 20 years now, since I first adopted your father, and Captain Forrester via Operation Just Cause Online...though I know you've been waiting much longer than that. No words can ever express how grateful I am that your families FINALLY get the closure they not just want, but deserve, as well as answers.
A Utah veteran who went missing in action during the Vietnam War is now finally being laid to rest. U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Ralph Jim Chipman went missing 50 years ago. On Dec. 27, 1972, Capt. Chipman was flying in a nighttime combat mission with two other crew members, according to the DPAA. Chipman, his co-pilot Capt. Ronald Wayne Forrester and another crew member flew over the northern area of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
This may sound like a stupid question, why don't the American Hurst's have side window's like we have in the UK, so that people can see the coffin when it goes past them,
@@ScotChipman thank you I did wander,so sorry about your loss,I lost both my mum and dad when I was twelve, I'm now heading for sixty you never forget there memory ,have a Great Christmas and a happy new year,

Is this one of our Viet Nam Veteran coming home?
It sure is.

Some do, the old hearse that carried my dad from the funeral home to the cemetery did have side windows.
