A lot of people might think it’s basic and uninspiring, but that doesn’t matter to me. Yes, it might smell like a luxury shampoo, but that’s the vibe I’m going for anyway. Sometimes simple is better-of course I like to smell unique too and have my favorites, however, all in all, I find this very pleasant and unoffensive. I actually wish there were more perfumes that smelled like shampoo. I’m tired of those niche brands, and their gaudy marketing for something that smells like absolute garbage. Anyway thank you for the review!!!❤
@@Persolaise thank you for the reply! Just out of curiosity have you heard of Oswald Perfumery??? I recently went to Switzerland and purchased a Swiss exclusive perfume only sold in like 4 stores. It’s called Rêve sucrés. I would be interested in hearing your opinion(s) on that perfume and a dozen others there! Anyway big fan continue the awesome work!!!
as a guy that loves fresh, clean, soapy scents...i rock the hell outta this one. it's my after shower fragrance. very much a shampoo vibe. perfect for spring/summer days when i just wanna smell clean. simple, fresh, clean, soapy floral, but i absolutely love it.
I've tried the new j'adore a few weeks ago and i was unpleasantly surprised. It smelled like a very lightly scented body lotion and the scent lasted for only 30 minutes max.
I have a bottle of EDP from 2008, it's better than anything from its current lineup sold in-store. Diorsimmo would be a much better substitute, in my opinion. Unless they have reformulated it in the last 5 years as well (last tested in store back in 2016 or 17).
This perfume is so disappointing. I usually wear Chanel Eau Fraiche, and I used to wear Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Bleue before they discontinued it. Unfortunately my local drug store did not have the ones I usually wear and I was in a hurry so I asked the lady to give me a suggestion of something light and feminine, and she suggested the alcohol free J'adore. It's light alright - so light that there isn't even a slight trace of its scent 30 seconds after a spray. I'm spritzing myself with this stuff like I just got my first bottle of Victoria's Secret Bombshell in the early 2000's. For $142 bucks a bottle, I should be smelling it on my clothes for the next decade. Big pass from me.
I should have hated this more. I actually kind of liked it but not enough to own it. If I had a young child, in the preteen ages, it would make a nice gift.
I love Infinissime. All the others are just too fleeting. Although this one lasts 45 minutes. Definitely an improvement to the OG that lasts merely 30 minutes on me. Too much money for the pitiful performance. Even Infinissime gets me just about 4 hours. All in all the J’Adore line is not impressive anymore.
Another boring flanker by Dior👎 no big release by Dior lately? I thought Francis kurkdjian will change the game? It's a flankers world! What's next Dior Sauvage sport free alcohol? Great review mate👌 Cheerio🥂😉 PS and you are right the original j'adore was a true gem! But once again the very mediocre Francois Demachy altered the formula & ruined the scent profile👎👎👎
This doesnt last because it doesnt have alcohol. I don't understand why ppl complain- i mean you know its a water perfume, what did you expect? Personally i like the scent.
I was not happy with this fragrance. It was generic barely there smell , no sillage. Disnt even last 15 minutes. I bought two bottles as gifts for friends and a lotion that im actually returning right!!!😡😡 now....today This is a joke parfume.

The first versions were unquestionably superior.

The sigh said it all :)
Yes. I probably should have stopped after the sigh.
I love this one!

Hi Dariush, what's your opinion about amouage silver oud?
I don't review Amouage scents at the moment.

@@Persolaise Is there a particular reason you don't review them? Genuinely interested!

Thanks again for watching. The longevity of a scent isn't mainly determined by whether the solvent is alcohol.
“Pleasant forgetability” :)

I bought it today, anti perspiring form rexona lasts longer :(

??? I wore it to work (mote than 10 sprays; on clothes) and can still smell it. 9 hours.
@@marialopes9365 now i am jelaous, not my case
It was and still is Charlize Theron who fronts the campaign I believe. It’s not one I want to try particularly as not a massive fan of the original.
Hi Angela, the very first advert starred Carmen Kass.

I too love Barry white the walrus of love 😂
I know only because that ad was played TO DEATH… and I saw it so many times, I would have remembered if it had Charlize Theron in it.

That's because it's Parfum d'eau, not Eau de parfum...
