Hello Mel0n, i saw your jade skates review and i was wondering how you felt about them? i havent seen an update on your channel. i was wondering if you would reccomend them, and if so, would you reccomend them as dots or as a pre-layouted (sorry first language isnt english but i hope you catch my drift) skate set?
Hey! The jades are great! Much better than the other speed skates I've tried! But I still prefer the Obsidians overall but the jades ares still good. In terms of what kind to get, the donuts are my personal favorite but if you're using a super soft pad I'd recommend getting the full-size stocks as the donuts/dots can't account for the depth of super soft pads. @@mel0nFPS alright thank you! i ordered the new VXE R1 pro and an Aqua Control 2 mousepad, its 4mm thick, so would you reccomend the dots or the donuts for that? i've heard that the obsidians could wear the mousepad down quicker so i am kind of hesitant to try those. also if it helps i play mostly low sensitivity and games like Valorant, fortnite, cs and league!
Hi mel0n, I just got the sora v2 yesterday and I've been wondering which aftermarket skate will suit me best, I just applied the small skate on the mouse first and the skates feel off. I play mainly cs2 and apex and use control pad like Saturn Pro v2. Thanks in advance
Hey! My personal favorites are the X-RayPad Obsidian skates (full size or dots/donuts), they're a control skate made of hardened PTFE so they have great durability and performance. If you want something a little faster the X-RayPad Jades are also amazing but much faster due to their 100% PTFE makeup. Since you're using a softer pad I'd recommend going with the Donuts or full-size skates as dots can't account for the depth of the pad and will cause the base of your mouse to rub against the surface of the pad. Hope that helps!
@@mel0nFPS Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to fix it after some fiddling. Somehow LMB got bent so I had to hit it with a hairdryer and bend it back into its proper shape.

@@AQR1L Either would work honestly! I've never had the obsidians damage any of my pads but it's up to you!

@@prdx256 I'm glad you figured it out! You gotta be careful when taking out the main clicks, they bend really easily.
