Both were burned by people they should've been able to trust, and it made it difficult for the both of them to be honest with one another for a long time. Also, Ray was just as scared to be rejected by Sand, because Sand was the one who constantly said at the beginning of their relationship that Ray wasn't his type, that he'd never consider someone like Ray for a boyfriend, etc.

It’s driving me crazy. Nick has a chance to be with Dan who truly cares about him and Mew is trying his damnest to make Top leave him.
I’m glad at how maturely Top responded to Mew’s actions. He’s clear about the extent he’s willing to go through to fix the damage he has caused and to make it up to Mew, but he also doesn’t pretend to be blind towards what Mew and Boeing has been doing. He’s not a doormat who’d let himself get disrespected and get hurt nonsensically, and even though he loves Mew he has a good amount of self-respect. He lets Mew know that he’d rather have the relationship end rather than let Mew continuously do things that will just make things worse for both of them.

The reunion scene of SandRay is so incredible beautiful. It's just perfection. The way Ray called out Sand's name. Sand's hesitation before he turns around. The music. The stare in silence. The surroundings and lights. The apology of Ray and how he starts to cry instantly, because he truly means it. The way he runs to Sand to pull him close. Sand, who pulls Ray into a protective hug. Ray, who repeats his apologies and Sand, who starts to smile because he understands. And finally the confession that both can't live without the other, what makes them cry. ♥

Is there an award for intimacy? Because First and Khaotung deserve one 14:16 the way hands holding and stroking each other convey so much 14:20 and I understand why so many are rooting for them together. Their story is the one being explored and they can give of a myriad of reactions between them, they aren’t one note characters, both show so many layers and their acting skills are commendable. What a pair of impressive actors 💕

There is just something just magnetic about First and Khao snd their portrayal of SandRay. They are do realistic and raw with their emotions "I can't live without you" felt that to my core
I am captivated by all the characters and stories in this series but Ray and Sand steal the show for me. Their connection jumps off the screen. Their scenes together mesmerize. They make me believe that they love each other. So well done! ❤️
Ray and Sand are my favorite couple, like from episode 1 I've been unreasonably invested in them, and whenever they fight or one is upset at the other I'm just like, no it's ok don't be mad 😭.😂😂😂

I really cried together, and with that scene in the bathtub of them holding hands and Sand saying " i've never cared this much for anyone in a long time " ok, I can't live without them either.

I do think Sand hearing about Yo’s fears did help a little even though I do think Sand already knows Ray well enough to know that Ray might have had same fears and/or believes.

You can see the "He came back, I'm not alone anymore" on Sand's face when they finally hug. The guy had tears in his voice like 5 sec earlier saying that yes he was here alone and the love of his life showed up, it's so beautiful !

Not gonna lie, when Yo opened up to Sand about her previous heartbreaks, I teared up, and then her lover came back and I just… I cheered loud! They had drama, they got hurt, but he must have thought about it and realised what she had been trying to tell him. So he came back, and he didn't do anything to make her feel bad for pushing him away in the first place. Just came there, heart on his sleeve and showed through his actions that he had listened. And you could see how much of an impression their reunion meant to Sand. When Ray came back to him, Sand just took him back because he knew from Yo's situation that sometimes there's no need for words yet, just a hug and then you can talk later.

Also, I like how Mew... integrated his shadow self? Is this what it's called? He basically opened some hidden resources and qualities within himself and became more whole, if it makes sense.
Well, it's not fully integrated yet, since some of his decisions are not so benefitial for him, but it's a lot better then ater the break up.
