No!!! Never scared my child with that. Parents should NEVER scare their kids like that, you undermind your authority. I never had a problem with my son. When he was young and asked for something, I would tell him. "My first answer is my only answer!" If he asked again, I would ignore him. He learned and I never had a problem. 😉 No chankla needed, just silence and sticking to my word!
