If Elly wants to seriously perform and rake in the cash he needs to ditch the face slapping chains and cut his hair so his helmet fits right. I totally get the desire to look amazing but you gotta maximize the money you make and the performance you can while you are healthy and a chain slapping you in the face while you run and a helmet flying off are a problem.

Got to watch a little league game and I was pleased to see that one team was disciplined and it was that discipline that got them over the hump to win.
Pequannock vs CLIFTON & Paquannock was the most disciplined team out of the both.
I told one of the paquannock fans that Clifton had more talent but what I meant was that they had more ability. Their team was bigger, stronger and faster BUT they lacked discipline.
They, Clifton, swang at bad pitches constantly. Their starting pitching was not able to get it back together once the pitcher lost the strike zone. And once they fell behind on the score, they did not have the discipline put it together and make a comeback.
Paquannock on the other hand, had smaller players, slower and did not throw as fast but they kept it together the whole time.
They fell behind 3-0 and came back and won 8-5 I think was the final score.
Paquannock did not hit as hard as Clifton and was not as fast as Clifton players but they chipped it one inning at the time till they got that big break in middle of the game where they received about 5-6 walks…. IF THEY DID NOT HAVE DISCIPLINE THEY WOULD HAVE NOT WON THE GAME THAT EASILY & THAT REFLECTS ON THE LEADERSHIP OF THE TOWN.
I bet Paquannock does not weed out the crops and leave the weeds on the ground.
THEY, PAQUANNOCK, WEED THE WEEDS OUT AND KEEP THE CROPS.
SO, one team won because they had discipline even thought they were smaller and slower and the other team lost because they lacked discipline even though they were bigger and faster.
Paquannock starting pitcher #18 was a gamer… he kept his composure. Gave up 4 runs in the first 4-5 innings but did not quit….a skinny little white boy throwing mediocre speed just kept grinding. THERE WAS NO QUIT IN HIM & THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE IT!
BY THE WAY, UMPIRING WAS NOT THAT BAD. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW LOW BALLS CALLED FOR STRIKE, IT WAS NOT BAD AT ALL. I PRAY THAT THE EMPIRE THAT LEFT THE GAME IS WELL!

He’s crazy talented and fun to watch. I just hope his cockiness and antics don’t derail his career. Enthusiasm is great, but there’s a fine line that he seems to already be flirting with.

He's flirting with it perfectly fine and he has that type of personality that just seems to always be happy just like Ken Griffey Jr had

Cockiness?! I don't think you have been watching him. He exudes confidence, but I would never call him cocky. This whole team is riding high and he just fits right in.

@@steveanthrop8475 Yes, I’ve been watching him, and other than Shohei Ohtani, he’s the best thing to happen to baseball in along time. But little things like repeatedly pointing at his bat after a home run is cockiness, not enthusiasm. As I said, there’s a fine line.

Fastest? O'Neil Cruz is a split second off him. And still holds hardest infield throw and hardest hit off bat. O'Neil Cruz was clocked at 99 throw. Hit ball at 122.4
So I guess you forgot O'Neil Cruz " experts".
