- Take a look at Texas DT T'Vondre Sweat and how he is able to affect the passer at 360lb! He's already an excellent run defender, if he can keep developing as a pass rusher, he could be a major force in the NFL!
Those reps you call "disappointing" are him doing exactly what he supposed to do for that defensive call. It is an adjustment PK made to his scheme when facing QB's who are a threat to run. One of the DT's will be given the job of maintaining position to clog the middle, especially when they play man.
That actually makes a lot of sense!
After watching these clips, I had the same thought. His ability to impact the game goes beyond just attacking gaps but where he really shines is his ability to hold the point of attack. Using his explosiveness and short area quickness to penetrate gaps and attack is really a big bonus. The impressive thing is he was used in multiple roles and his skillset points to assignment flexibility. As a Chiefs fan, I really like the idea of Sweat lining up next to Chris Jones.
He could pair up well with vita vea in Tampa
Eagles needs to draft this guy!!!
Future San Francisco 49ers … we need a run stuffer and can take on double team
Great breakdown!
Thank you!
This is the Cat the 9ers need to plug into the middle of that D-Line.
A Bonafide Old School NT ,you should always have a Space Eating DT If you Run a 4-3 ,Free up your 3 tech who works beside him and Your DE's won't be Doubled as often.
Ignore his "flashy" stats because they go to his teammates. Big man eats double teams which is very useful in blitzing pass rush situations. Also very extremely useful against the run game.
Texans need him at DT helping to fill a hole and stop the run
Awesome stuff my man, I been bingeing all of your vids and learning a lot. Any chance you might do a video on Braden Fiske from FSU? He had a great senior bowl!
Dude, Braden Fiske is one of my favorite players in this class! I’ll def do a vid on him. He’s a beast!
Would love to see a Brandon Dorlus from Oregon film breakdown
He's got potential to be a great NT at the next level. If he can become consistent as a pass rush threat watch out
Thanks!
Dallas cmon
Really? Another NT?
Put this man next to Alim McNeil, Josh Paschal/John Cominsky & Aiden Hutchenson. Push the pocket from the inside & let the ends collapse. Stop the run & dominate the line.
Sweat would be a great fit in Detroit!
Seems like a perfect fit for what the Bengals need. If he available at there 2nd Rnd pick. I would think he would be one of front runners for them. Start of 2nd Rnd teams should prolly be looking at him. Bengals need a NT.
Do one on Jackson McKinley
Reminds me of Fridge Perry. Not the huge stat guy. But required double teams. No matter what.
Get this man down to 330lbs-340lbs and it's over for o-linemen
He played at about 345 his Jr year. He was more productive his Sr year but hard to tell how much of the difference was weight and hom much was maturity.
So against bad OL he’s good, against good OL, not so much. Surprised? He’s a run stuffer, not a pass rusher.
He needs to drop 30 pounds, does he keep that explosiveness and power we shall see
Yea I’m not sure. I think the cowboys tried that with Mazi Smith and I don’t think it’s worked super well so far.
@@thedraftfactory4713 cowboys reached when Joey Porter Jr was sitting right there, Mazi wasn’t even polished as a rusher
@@BiggoSuavethey weren’t looking for a pass rusher in him mainly. They were looking for a run stuffer. Looks like another season of searching for a viable DT since David Irving
I wanna see this dude next to Sexy Dexy. Yikes!!
Next level please.....
Great music too
a 360 lb pass rusher? no. DT.
This music HORRIBLE
Bengals
We need to stap acting like this guy is not him. He is.
