im back again, sorry for the wait! I was going through a bit of an art block moment, and also life lol. many of you have requested for me to try out the free app ibis paint for a while now, and so that's what I did! im actually really happy with how this drawing came out, hopefully you guys like it too

Also yeah! you can find it by going to the special "tab" thingy, which not only has the liquify tool but also includes a shrink/ expand tool which is really cool!!

Oo i also use that app. I thought the app was kinda "less cooler" than Procreate, since i have android, but when i saw this video, i now know that, Ibis paint is amazing just my drawing is absolute garbage. Love your style 😭😭 It's amazing honestly ✨

the material doesn't matter so u don't need to have expensive stuff to make amazing art.so don't feel discouraged and keep practicing the right way . like using references and doing multiple studies on anatomy light bouncing things like that

Yesss hands are so hard- I just make circles with a few lines or a thumb and a pointy oval with 1 line in the middle. 😔✋

If you scroll till you reach the top of the "layer section" there is a blue layer, all you have to do is to click it and color the part of the draw that you wanna select then you can go back to another layer and your color will stay in area that you created!
Also there is a "magic wand" in the tool bar and you can also use that but it works like the bucket tool.
I hope it will help you! Anyways you're drawings are so gorgeous, I love you're style, it's literally driving me crazy, keep going you're amazing👑✨
POV: when you don't know how to draw so you just watch someone draw but then you wanted to be creative and started to draw and after that you thought your drawings are pretty but then you compared it to this drawing 🙂

No matter where you go or what you do there’s going to be someone “better” You can either take it as an inspiration to work harder, or continue to compare which will only bring you down. Work hard and improve💞 Even if you think you’re not good I’m sure you’re great!! 💗💕🤍
@@ayannayves737 everyone has their own pace. Been drawing since longer than you, and I’m nowhere near this level but I have been inconsistent and it shows.
To get better at drawing you can't just "practice practice" Comparing your art is also a no go. You have recognize what you're having trouble with. Say you're bad at anatomy in the face, but good at drawing bodies. You have to learn and study the face (maybe with the help of tutorials) and then simplify them to make it easier to draw.
Like drawing hands, there's different ways to simplify drawing a hand thay work for different people. You'll get to where you want to be eventually with practicing in certains areas at a time. Picking up different tips and tricks will help you develop your own. Keep trying. And stop loathing all the time. 👍

Yes! If you click on the layers button, there is a blue layer which is used for selecting stuff..
Go on that layer and start drawing over what u want to select and then once u do that, click onto the layer u were working on, then it will be selected.

Love your art! In the video you mentioned how you would’ve prefered there to be a liquify feature - well, there is! Just click on the button on the left that says ‘Special’ and there will be a liquify, shrink and expand feature! Hope this helps :D

I’ve just started using ibis now, I do have procreate but I have been having art block recently and needed a fresh start. The app is great! Vv good brushes 😊

Am i the only one that’s wondering if she draws over, on or under the line art layer??? LIKE WHERE DOES SHE DRAW ITS SO CONFUSING?
Here’s what I think (may not be correct): she sketches it out, then colors under the sketch layer. she makes a new layer for every different part colored. Then she goes over the sketch with some cleanup / line art and uses the colors from before to clean up the sketches on the colored parts. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah I usually sketch in one layer, then colour on another, then merge, and maybe also create another layer on top to work on and then merge again. In the end I have everything on one layer 😊💖

Im so glad you didnt complain about how it is nothing like procreate and how its not as advanced as procreate. A lot of youtubers do that and it annoys me so I am so glad you didnt. And I love that drawing it looks awesome!

OMG HOW DO YOU COLOR THE LINE ART WITHOUT JUST COLORING OVER EVERYTHING
Yeah! You can create a clipping layer on top of your line art, or you can just set your line art layer to “alpha lock” and this allows you to just colour the contents of that layer 💖

use alpha lock and use red on the sketch layer then color on the layer below (the one u added)

-on the eyedrop you can just press hold it to get the color so it wouldn't be hard for you to go back end fort on the eyedrop section

im not sure if you knew this already but, you can save the colors if you want to recolor something you messed up on! just click on the box to color and there is these two rectangles and click on the right one and hold, drag it to the box where the different colors are at! **i hope i explained it well!!**

There is a liquify tool
•Go to the special button
•Click the setting icon
•Choose any option, there are more like the lasso fill etc but click on the liquify tool
•You could change the strength and its setting

Instead of using the lasso for shading, you should,d use the magic wand. You simply click 'magic wand', click on some part and it be selected. Then, you may continue to shade.
