You have no idea how helpful these videos have been. I bought cold steel one on a whim and the series immediately became possibly my favorite ever, but midway thru 3 it became clear there was so much stuff from the other games I needed to know to fully appreciate these games.
I played through trails in the sky and absolutely LOVED it but halfway thru SC it occurred to me I probably couldn’t get through all of the sky and crossbell games with my busy schedule and I found your channel! This has been so helpful, and the appreciation you have for the series is so evident. Definitely earned a sub.

This is exactly my experience I loved trails 1 but halfway through SC it just fell off for me. I just finished Cold Steel 1 and the gameplay improvements basically ensure I am going to go all the way for the series.

Thanks for the Video, I played the Trails in the Sky Trilogy last year but had to wait for Trails from Zero and Trails from Azure to release, before I could continue with the Series.
This was a perfect Video to freshen up my memories.

Thank you for making this video! Don't be me, skipped the first 3 games and played the Crossbell Arc in one week. I fell in love with the series then on regardless and excited for the day I get back to Crossbell. Had to do some research to enlighten myself on certain things that flew over my head, for the series is in my mind rent free. Then a friend mentioned the "doors" so I went back to researching while I was in the middle of chewing through CS1. Again, thank you for making this video! It cleared a lot of things up.

Thank you so much for these. It's been 4 years since my Kiseki binge so these are so helpful for the NA release of Hajimari

I even replayed his part twice just for me to understand, on contrary when lady is narrating, I can understand what is going on even I am not looking at the screen 😅

I was able to understand just fine. But must be the quality of the mic for some people.

Thanks to your channel I am able to start on Zero soon. You managed to include all important details while staying as condensed as possible.

considering I don't have time to play through all arcs these summery videos really help me understand the story better. I know if I tried playing reverie I'd be so confused without these.

I'm coming back to finish the final boss of 3rd after quite a few years, and this is really useful to help me get back into the world. Thanks!

Thank you for this! I finished FC and SC but somehow got burnt out halfway through 3rd 😫 it’s been forever since I picked it up and I really want to move on to the Crossbell Arc so I’ll be watching this instead

February's audio quality need's to improve. It is not that clear and muffled at times.

    “Arrest Cassius Bright”. Sure
Let me know how that turns out for you 😂

I don't know, Erebonia ain't slackers when it comes to power. They send the Thunder God, Golden Rakshasa, Scarecrow, Icy Maiden, and maybe the Rook and even Cassius would be hard pressed. Heck Ouroboros might even "join in" the arrest. Cassius is terrifying, but he can bleed.

@@Deode-d4h And that is when he picks up a sword, like Goku removing his weighted training clothes.
If I'm not mistaken, the candidates for the canonically most powerful living fighter in Zemuria are Victor Arseid and Aurelia Le Guin(they possibly swap places over the course of Cold Steel), the head of the Septian Church, and McBurn. Cassius might be the greatest strategic mind in all of Zemuria, but in terms of sheer power he has superiors. I think the reason people think he's the most powerful person in Zemuria is because of all the hype around him in Sky. He's more like the Batman of the series than the Superman.
We also have no knowledge whatsoever of the Grandmaster's capabilities yet, but we can assume that they are great considering that she still has McBurn in her employ. My supposition is that McBurn is far more powerful than the Grandmaster, and he only goes along with it because a) he is granted so much freedom in the society and b) she has information he seeks. I think that in the end, as the arc of the franchise comes to a close, there will only be left the Grandmaster and McBurn. And maybe Campanella. Which, now that I think about it, doesn't include any of the Anguises. They never did seem all that important other than Weissman, and Vita seems to act against other members of Ouroboros more often than with them..
p.s. I've only played up to Reverie, so my information may be outdated.

Great summary videos! I played through FC and SC a few years ago and never could finish up 3rd but I wanted to jump into Zero. This got me all caught up! Only complaint is February’s portion. The audio quality was poor and I couldn’t hear and understand him very well.

Sadly it's a ''bad'' game with amazing story but locked behind doors and what not.
I really hated the dungeo ncrawling, loved the first two games, hated the third, from a gameplay perspective.

but....his number is ten...was that a mistranslation and did they mean his letter, 'b' maybe?

    • @BlackEyedJester
      @BlackEyedJester Год назад +2

I know this is an old comment but, his number is 10, but it's always written with a roman numeral, so his number is "X"
One thing that wasn't mentioned in this video is the Quiz Game with Campanella (Sun Door 5), one of the questions he'll ask is "Who is the true identity of Bleublanc?" and the answer is "Amorous Con Artist X"
So his 'number' really does reveal all.
