  • In this video I talk about the importance of keeping the body square while repairing major rust holes. If you would like to know where I got all my panels from, most of them came from California Imports and Wolfsburg West. Though I also made a lot of custom pieces myself. Thanks for Watching!

As someone who daily drives a 77 US spec stock fuel injected beetle, this inspires me to one day attempt to repair the little bit of body work my beetle needs. Great work! You've gained another subscriber!

Thank you! It’s nice to hear things like that. I may not be good at teaching but I can sure help people learn from my mistakes. It’s really not too hard if you just approach it with patience. Best of luck to you!

You have a gorgeous bug... The thing that got my attention most was your tires and wheels.. I love the deep dish of your wheels and paint scheme... It really makes your bug stand out... Can't wait for the video about your wheels.. Take care and see you on the next video...

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. I also appreciate your patience, I’m gonna make the next part about the body work and then I’ll address how I picked out my rims and tires right after that. I’m a little behind because I got sick.

Well done, no shortcuts taken which is not as easy as it sounds because it takes a lot of work and time to get it right.

Thanks, I just really like the attention to detail because it’s what I would notice. Most people don’t see it but since I worked on it I didn’t wanna cut corners and see them every time I drive.

Nice Job. Don't forget a video how you lowered it. Where did you buy your Carpet? It looks like it fits great. In this video it looks like you replaced your front firewall. I have a new firewall here for my car and there is a spot weld about every 1/8 to 1/4 inch all around it. What a job it must have been to find and drill them all out.

Thanks! My next video will be about how I lowered the car and picked out my rims/tires. My interior came fully from Sewfine, I’ll make another video about that too at some point. And yeah, I personally like drilling out spot welds but it is quite difficult. I missed a lot, and also drilled extra holes that I thought were spot welds haha.
