"Hello, my name is Manuel, and I'm addicted to boots" That should be my intro in each video. Thank you so much for your comment. Have a fantastic weekend.
I've watched a TON of video on boots and leather. I don't think I've ever heard this much love in the tone of the speaker. I can tell this man really depends on these tools for his livelihood and appreciates it. Great video Manuel keep it up!!!
My friend, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm unsure if they are successful, but If you liked them, that fills my heart. This is for you, my friends. God bless you :)
Great video, thanks for making it, Manny. Really interesting. I'm hoping to put in an order with Nick's or Frank's next year and this was really helpful.
Excellent video Manny. This will be very helpful when making my next choice of leather for the next PNW boots I'll order. After receiving advice from you in a previous video I ordered my nicks overlanders in Dublin natural veg tan. The leather is so soft, it patinas amazingly (the first 3 hours in the sun and it was already changing color) and it has great character (it shows a lot wrinkles - if you enjoy this kind of thing they are amazing). It's a real shame you can't order it from nicks anymore I would have been very curious what you would think about it.
Hello brother!!! Thank you for your comment. Well, Dublin was a leather that I miss, and since it was a particular order once gone, we don't when it will comeback. I'm so glad that you got them. Is really a unique leather, premium, above CXL for sure. Hope Nick brings back more Dublin. I'm thrilled to get a pair of Falcons in that leather!
Manny, for the the thin kilties on the Whites BH boots- both pairs use the kiltie for adding heft or bulk to the lacing, because they are half size too big. But that Wickett n Craig latigo leather is awesome! It has that magical high pull up effect!
Hermano!!! Thank you for passing by :D . Yep the Latigo looks amazing, everytime I want to imagine how will look with LTT I go and watch your pics! I need to buy wider kilties for sure but at the same time I enjoy the whites a bit thinner leather. Is very comfortable actually.
Hermano!! I been watching your videos actually! Love them. Finally made time to make a video. Now I grab my coffee and answering all of you great people! A big hug to you my man. Keep making videos brother. That DS is so greaaat !
Loved this video, Manny, thank you for posting it. I know this isn't your total boot collection because I know you have some beautiful pairs of pull-ons, too. Fun to see these!
Manny, recently I started buying boots in my brannock size 10.5D, mainly because my heel to ball is an 11 so I'm using the 11 sizing now and doing a half size down from that and it seems to be working pretty good. I have 1 nicks and 1 whites in 10.5D and everything else in 10D and the 10.5D actually feel more comfortable. Thanks for the good videos as always.
My friend, I'm so glad that you found your perfect size. Socks have a lot to do with sizing, so I have to think and thin socks around. You can be surprised about what socks do to sizing. Hope you enjoy your boots well. Thank you for your comment. Have a fantastic weekend!
Que buena colección de botas compa! No conozco muchos latinos que le gustan las buenas botas de USA…. Yo tengo White’s, JK, y Truman ya me están haciendo las overlanders 64 brown! I believe you brother! Thank you for sharing your opinion. I really appreciate it. I like both celastic and soft toe, just depending on the type of leather and brand. :D
Awesome content man I wish I had the passion and dedication to a hobby like you do. I would love to see some on feet videos of how your pants lay over these boots.
Cream pigments, HIGHLY recommended you Saphir cream colors. You can choose color and apply the cream to the area or all the boot and have one dedicated brush for that cream, which will stain the hairs.
Dang Manny, those navy horserump bounty hunters are killer! When did Baker's offer that run? So wish I could've gotten in that order. Great video and excellent boots man.
Great collection man ! I just sent my measurements in to whites for sizing. Wanting to get the 8” Perry select. I have wider feet, would you say the Perry’s are generous in the toe box ?
Primary reason why I'm very happy with the Perrys, the toe box is quite wide, I'm EE to EEE brannock and I think the Perrys EE will fit perfect up to F wide or FF easy.
Hello Manuel, Your collection is amazing😮 You are a real boots lover with a huge knowledge and experience.I am on my way to place my first order for Nick’s boots , spending many hours and days here in YT to get more information from people like you. Want to ask you about Nick’s. What do you think about the heel with 55 last.Logger, Dogger, or Block is more comfortable for daily use. And what is better sole for walking and standing all day long. Thank you with all my respect for your work here.
Hey brother! Thanks a lot for the comment and many questions. It is my honor to share with you my experience. In regards to the 55 last is a Last that I don't use. My foot has a low arch and the HNW fits me very well. I had used before the 55 in try-on boots and had a pair of whites in a similar last. I think medium and high-arch people will benefit a lot from that last. The heels are cosmetics in general, if you doing a specific job like a cowboy, the block heel will not help like the dogger. The logger and dogger have the same feeling, but the looger has a straight line and the logger the curve. I do have all my whites with dogger heels and feel great, push your weight a bit to the front. The HNW is nice too, actually, I prefer last if working too many hours. The outsoles are a matter of preference, the basic ones offered by any PNW brand are good enough, but for long hours the lug soles honey will help you as well as the wedge soles.
@@MIIIB Hello Brother, Thank you soo much for sharing your experience with me! Your help is priceless. From what I understand looks like I will choose for my first Nick’s - oiled latigo, 55 last, dogger heel, moderate stuck/by the way do you have an idea if dogger heel with moderate stuck is lower than the one with classic stuck/and V100 sole/don’t know if the honey one is durable like the black one/.
@@soldiers23 the v100 either honey or black will last at least 18 months for daily use of 10hrs per day. I haven't know anyone who can degradate those soles in less than 18 months. Black may last maybe 20 or 21 months. The I highly recommend you celatic toe. The moderate and stuck difference is one 1 piece of leather at the heel.
@@MIIIB I was thinking firstly to order toe cup but is too expensive. About the celastic toe I am not sure if I can use same sizing or need half size up.And don’t know what is the benefit. I am going to rotate Nicks with my Iron Rangers so the sole will last 4-5 years.
Obenaufs grease light coats as possible, not heavy loads, grease on my work boots and oil Obenaufs too in thrisrty leathers. I try to avoid many often oiling, just once a year or each 2 yrs. Highly recommend bricks 4 or cadillac conditioning cream, will not dark at all your boots and is a quick refresher for the leather, I use a lot in many of my boots to keep them smooth and avoid dry leather. Venetian cream too, will dark a bit but is a nice cream for CXL and leaves a shiny looking.
I think the Whites Selects with double-shot leathers are more comfortable boots. Nicks's handwear will be stiffer and unnecessarily thick leather. Nicks has better rugged boots with lug soles, but the hardware pro is not their more robust model. Whites Perrys select DS is something else I like more than boot.
@@LegBuilder I got a new pair in british tan, so the tobacco is softer more or less like throrogood leather and the double shoot more like CXL, so I feel like for work the double shoot will be better in the long run but if you like softer leather the tobacco is good too

It does collect a lot of mud actually, but juat a bit of water and brush to take it off. IMO is the most comfortable outsole, even if heavier you feel more support thru the day
