My head canon, is that the Bad Breakvan either consumed or sent away the truck to send a message to the other trucks: Behave, or else. Either the truck is in hell, or somewhere worse; I guess… *well never know…*
The story of the Brake Van is quite intriguing. I suppose we'll never truly know what those trucks witnessed that night in the tunnel. My theory is that they saw something of unspeakable horror
This was a very good story, Rheneas. The idea of the brake van being a hitman from hell used to dispose of troublesome trucks is an amazing idea. Great work!
I love this. I love this story within a story & cautionary tale (nothing like a good old traumatizing horror story to teach people to behave), the horror came from that lone truck & it's whereabout, the fate of Gremlin the truck, and the unknown & ominous elements😨. I love the use of Marv's scream from Home Alone, which make it Darkly cometic🤣.
You know it's October when Rheneas Productions uploads a new video! I like the sinister predatory nature of this brakevan. Stoic and stone-cold. I bet it doesn't even blink whether or not Bradford would state that.
This was certainly different, we’ve all seen the malice that was the spiteful brakevan but this was on a whole other level and I’m here for it! I really love how you’ve expanded on Bradfords lore through your own take while also bringing light to a very clever way to make a story seem uncertain on whether it’s real or not because it was told with the purpose of scaring the trucks into shape. I’m surprised a story like this hasn’t been made up sooner, well done!
Nice one, Im Always happy to find a good Thomas fanvideo for the Halloween season. And this one has good writing AND great Animation, that makes it Always better
My guess is that they stumbled upon a place in the tunnel where the brakevan had been traumatised before. Maybe he's possesed by the ghost of his former guard, who I'd imagine likes to punish naughty trucks. 😊 👻 😈
But wouldn't that make the guard angelic? After all there are stories from the Bible including Revelation and Exodus where angels intervened to send the wicked to hell.
actually… in the Book of Mormon… (which I must specify is ‘Another testament of Jesus Christ’ Angels can be terrifying in their own right… especially towards those who have done wrong…)
This is a really cool horror story I like it, also like the characters who told the story normally with most videos, characters from the RWS or models series who tell the horror but this story was told by a CGI character which is pretty rare to come by.
I like how much this fits with all the scary episodes in season 5, specifically Duncan gets spooked, with the mystery element. Not know what is and isn’t really about his story
That was a great story! I love Bradford in this story, and I love how you got him and Boco together. I also love Bradford's story and that was terrifying, and I think that brakevan should be the Devil's brakevan.
Did anyone notice that part of Bradfords story if not most of it took place on the Severn Valley when it was still a secondary route for British Railways?
First the thirteenth van with its nightmarish smile, now this brakevan with its emotions face. Love this fandom at Halloween 🎃 such awesome users and storirs too. 😊
Okay, that was quite a spooky story. I haven't heard a story like that in ages. It seems Bradford has a few tricks up his own sleeves. The part with the trucks in the tunnel has to be the most frightening scene of the whole story.
One wonders if Bradford told the truth or if he had had something like this made up in case of troublemakers.Or if it was real and he fictionalised it or.....hes really out there..,..there are so many iterations of his story It makes me wonder.
I have a theory that the brakevan was or is a supernatural being, possibly even a demon that the manager has a deal with hence the brakevan being left on a siding by itself as if it's some kind of weapon or tool only to be used for extra measures It would explain why Gremlin just vanished without a trace, and the red light in the tunnel as well. Maybe the brakevan became some kind of monster and ate Gremlin, or like someone else here said in another comment, it dragged or sent Gremlin to hell which is probably what traumitized the trucks to the point where they can't even speak anymore Edit: I mainly got this theory because I remembered the animatronics in Graveyard Shift at Freddy's being similar in a way. The manager of Freddybear's knows the animatronics are alive, and feeds them night guards to keep them at bay. The story and lore for GSAF Implies that the manager made a deal with a demon to make more money, but in exchange now has to feed demons possessing the mascots of Freddybear's as part of the deal. I think something similar happened here with the brakevan. The manager either made a deal with a demon in exchange for something to help the railway, or maybe the brakevan caused chaos a lot before being given a deal to be used only for specific situations like the trucks being a nightmare to deal with by normal punishment and scolding, so the only way to deal with them is to have the brakevan do its thing
That was an interesting story ^^ Bradford is about the only character from the cgi era I like, They should have got Windsor Davies to voice him XD, As someone mentioned in the comments I was expecting germlin to be faceless or something XD but still a good story!
Not bad! A break then made me chill thinking of what he would do but the fact that we don't know and it was so cryptic just makes it perfect There is a comment in the video "demons" by Carson's video workshop out there who says something which I could only agree on! "See?" He would say as l almost requote everything correctly "no jumpscare or *gore* required just plain spooky stuff" He didn't say this really, I'm just basing this from my mind, but I love it! Great story!
Dang. And I used to watch this show as a kid. I always thought that Thomas the Tank Engine was just an innocent kids show with nothing too unusual about it. God I could NOT have been more wrong.
My theory is that sparks from the sudden brake application set Gremlin on fire, burning him up in front of all the other trucks and causing the red glow. Once the fire had consumed Gremlin it was too big to be sustained by the limited oxygen found in a tunnel and suffocated itself before it could spread to the other trucks. Random brake applications would also explain why that brakevan was marked as 'do not use'. Either that or Bradford made the whole thing up.
It certainly has been a while, the story itself was nice and very spooky, even if it had gave me some goosebumps. Not sure if there’s gonna be more videos for October or Halloween this year, but this is good enough for a Halloween story. 🎃
This works in the same way Duncan Gets Spooked works. We don't know if Bradford made the story up. It's heavily implied, with all the time he was thinking he could have been cobbling up this shaggy dog story. However the time thinking could his been for something else until the memories of the event came to him, or he was contemplating on whether to tell the trucks about it.
That Brake Van just sitting around like a sleeper agent waiting to be called upon as an ultimate weapon sounds just about the coolest thing ever
I half-expected Gremlin to become faceless. Disappearing without a trace is just as terrifying
Gremlin becoming faceless might be more scary and mysterious to the story
@@justine23ds62 "When they counted all the trucks, they found a lone, faceless truck, where Gremlin was said to have been on the train."
