I'm happy that you are more active again. Battleblocks: Sengoku was first wargame that I played about a year ago. I made my own blocks and some felt terrain, and had a blast. Then I found out Pub Battles, and after that I fell down a rabbit hole, and now I'm making full Normandy and eastern front terrain to play some O group with. Thanks man.

@@zweihander0993 For Crossfire I use 6mm scale models from Heroics & Ros, they're all pewter metal minis and I get my tanks from them as well.
I made a video explaining about my miniatures and terrain if you want to know more.

Great to Crossfire getting used. Always a good game, let’s you concentrate on the tactics without the rules getting in the way.

Very cool. I like these reports. Do you think you could show some actual live play as additional material? I've recently watched Me Myself and Die playing Five Parsecs from Home, which has a similar feel to it. I really enjoy the solo play experience. Of course his production quality is over the top good, I'd be happy to just follow along, maybe a steady cam overlooking the map and recording your thoughts as you make the moves.

Im coming across this a month or so late, but im just starting to look at getting into Crossfire. It looks like you played this solo. Is that an optiom for Crossfire? If so, how well does it play solo?
Thanks in advance for any info/answers.

Hey thanks for the comment, it works great actually, you just play both sides to the best of your ability. What makes it even more easy though is using Too Fat Lardies' Platoon Forward system. The system allows you to play any game solo by giving specially designed scenarios and rules for generating enemy forces.
Crossfire is an excellent game and I highly recommend it

@@TheTabletopGamer Thanks for the quick reply. It looks like a great system. I came across it through Little Wars TV. The gameplay they shown had hidden units which activated when they got a visual on the advancement of their foe. This is where I had questions as LoS seems so important to gameplay. Obviously, hidden unit scenarios would be a major problem for solo play.
I'd love to see a more detailed video of your solo play and the rules in action if you had the time and didn't mind creating one. The game might benefit from such a video as I'm not sure Crossfire gets seen as a solo game.
