Myself as a controller player, i can just vouch what you said, on long range i NEVER felt aim assist, not in the old chapter and not in the new one, and on smg's there is absolutely 0.00% aim assist. That makes me sad and angry, cause since keyboard players can also have doublemovement, Controller players just have 0 advantages now. I guess if that stays the same, the console community will mostly stop playing fortnite. (Answer for the question, how aim assist feels to me)

Well i mean no input should have advantages but they both simply have to if u want them to work like bread and butter, they should give controller more long range aim assist not crazy tho just good enough and they need to make it be okay up close bc when aim assist is working i can plug a controller in and go crazy in any ones box no practice

Best way to fix aim assist just switch to expo I did this and just lowered the sens a little compared to most expo players and my aim is perfectly fine now but it’s annoying having to learn expo cause they take aim assist away
