Riding the horse back to the camp was so freaking touching, is touching to know you are going to die soon due tuberculosis, I lost interest on taking other's money, what worth does money have beyond this life? Few games give you such a powerful message.

When Arthur was diagnosed with tuberculosis, I honestly cried. I’m so connected to this game and it’s honestly heartbreaking to see a main character get diagnosed with a disease to make him start slowly dying.

Guarma felt like a dream than an actual part of the game
This song was so powerful and perfectly placed. Riding on a stolen horse aimlessly after two people die and yet another busted robbery, all before the hell that was Guarma. Really did feel the end of the game when this song played.
It was the start of the end of the gang. After this, I felt like all was lost and was sad.

this song is so sad. running with a gang that has become family for two decades, witnessing so many of them die along the way. losing the love of your life, and all while slowly dying to tuberculosis. arthur was not a good man. but, god, is his story sad. sometimes i wander how he would’ve turned out if he had stayed with his parents. replaying replaying replaying. this is arthur’s theme.
What gets me about this track is as you’re riding back to Shady Belle you can see Arthur’s tuberculosis has taken a real hold of him and he appears so much sicker. You can see the strong proud man he is is slowly fading..
literally, even near that last mission in the game - you can see the redness in his face, the swollen eyes, everything. hurts man.

I actually agree I only played the game recently because I was too young to play it with strict parents and found out about 10 character deaths within about 2 days of playing. Still loved the game though
Wish I would've seen this earlier. 1st day of playing, went to find the soundtrack, got the whole game spoiled before I even arrived in Horseshoe Overlook. Didnt even know who the f Sean or Kieran were or Bill from Strauss.

Just heard this for the first time last night,it really hit something deep down
I'm playing this game for the first time. This song hit me so hard that I decided to start playing it with honor. I went to Shady Belle, I rode with Charles and saved a girl from that Murfree's cave and refused her mother's gift. I went to meet Sadie so we could find John and greeted every person I found on my way, I saved a hunter from a trap and I brawled a mentally disabled person trying my best not to hurt him. I did everything I could to be a good person while riding to find Sadie but then... when I was almost there... I discovered I was sick and I was going to die. It made me reflect how I did Arthur wrong the whole game and now it was too late to be a good person. But I'm going to try my best. I'm going to help everybody while the game still allows me to. I even started covering my face not to rob and murder, but to avoid giving tuberculosis to sadie and john
Yeah man I don’t blame you at all This GAME is the first that made me emotionally attached to it especially Arthur I just feel that word can’t explain love to this game I just feel warm playing it it gave me every good feeling ever , What a Masterpiece rockstar has made .

My partner got me into this game bc he would play it all the time and share his screen and I was finally able to get the game myself and when I tell u s soon as I started playing it myself more and more I've fallen in love with this game tbh might be my new comfort game and when this song came on and I did the cinematic mode I was fr feeling it it was a vibe

Red dead redemption 2 is one of very few games that I got emotionally invested in the characters and story
I had just ust got back from guarma and WALKED ALL THE WAY TO SAINT DENIS, STOLE A BOAT, PADDLED BACK TO SHADY BELL, jokingly blow up boat then put dynamite on the shady bell, don’t see the flame so walk up to light it, EXPLODES MY HEAD OFF respawn at the dock only to find out there was a horse all along :/ the first time I got there tho the camp was still there and in Saint Denis there were 2 NPCs total I found, ona. Wagon. Then on the horse this absolute banger plays so it was worth it
Rdr2 is a masterpiece it’s my favourite game nothing will come close to it imo
As always, the soundtrack and story of this game always touched me and this time was no different, because everything about this game is spectacular and that's why I love it.

There were many games which i played through listening to different youtube videos and stuff in the background. But this game man... at this exact point i was just speechless vibing and riding listening to this song. I FELT this game. And there are not many games which had that kind of an impact on me...
I walked all the way there once, and the song didn't play. I'm sorta glad my game crashed so I could experience riding on a stolen horse. This song really hits home the loneliness in this quest.
The best sequence of the game. I just sat back in my couch, watched Arthur going back to Shady Belle after a failed robbery and the hell that Guarma was, and had chills and goosebumps on my arms… Nearly cried too.

What I love the most about most Rockstar protagonists is that they achieve incredible feats but in the end they're still very much human. They're not unbreakable, they can be beaten and killed. And they do take a beating, good lord an unholy amount of punishment. And it's when they're at their lowest Rockstar really makes them look inspiring. Having this song play as Arthur hangs one of his arms limp in his worn-down clothes really makes him look like a warrior that's been fighting for 10 years without rest and all he wants is to lie down on a soft comfortable bed. And yet his eyes still glow a fiery determination to keep fighting even more still until he knows everyone is safe.

Whole ride back to the camp is was genuinely worried. Most of the camp’s best guns were absent, law closing in, was afraid I’d make it back to find bodies. Game proved it wasn’t afraid to kill people you liked.
Back to Shady Belle house after the epic journey in Guarma, it was the greates scene in the game.

I remember in my first playthrough thinking it was stupid for Arthur to come so close to Downes in his sick condition but brushed it off thinking there is no way a cough would kill a main character. Boy was I wrong.
