Hi Macrame lovers...
I made 3 types of mini sized macrame wall hangings in the shape of a half circle. This tutorial is very suitable for those of you who are just starting to learn macrame. In 1 macrame you can practice making 1 to 3 macrame knots.
Following are the details of the materials you need to prepare:
1. 3 mm twisted cotton rope
a. Design 1
1st white rope: 100 cm
2nd white rope: 100 cm
3rd white rope: 90 cm
4th brown rope: 60 cm
5th white rope: 90 cm
6th white rope: 80 cm
7th brown rope: 50 cm
8th white rope: 80 cm
b. Design 2
1st white rope: 90 cm
2nd white rope: 90 cm
3rd white rope: 80 cm
4th white rope: 60 cm
5th brown rope: 120 cm
6th white rope: 80 cm
7th white rope: 50 cm
8th white rope: 80 cm
9th white rope: 40 cm
10th white rope: 40 cm
c. Design c
1st white rope: 90 cm
2nd white rope: 90 cm
3rd white rope: 80 cm
4th white rope: 50 cm
5th white rope: 80 cm
6th brown rope: 180 cm
Fringe: 9 x 30 cm
2. Wood diameter 1 cm, length 10 cm
3. Scissors
The final result of this mini macrame wall hanging measures: 10 cm wide, 17 cm long
The macrame knots used are Lark's head knot, reverse lark's head knot, horizontal double half hitch knot and vertical double half hitch knot. If you are still unfamiliar with this knot, you can learn it in my video about basic macrame knots.
